These are terrible. They are made from some kind of slippery rubber that causes them to slide against each other very very easily. The picture makes it look as if the ridges will keep them aligned and locked together but the ridges are so shallow that you can't even feel when you have them seated against each other. The shallow ridges and the slippery compound they're made of makes it very difficult to keep them on top of each other so that you can stack them for use. I chose these because wedge shapes ones elsewhere on amazon had reviews stating similar problems, but clearly these are no better.

I’m using these to level a bookshelf on carpet. They work great for that purpose. I can double them up when needed. They are flexible as well and could be cut down if needed. These are rubber, or plastic. If you need something stiff these aren’t for you. I do wish they came in different packaging. Once you open the backing you pretty much need to find a way to store them. A recloseable package would be nice since there are 30 of these that likely wouldn’t get used all at the same time.

CONCLUSION: 100 % recommended. These round wedge-shaped disks are economical and effective hardware items that are non-slip, configurable, extremely durable floor protectors and furniture levelers. FEATURES: The packaging does not lend itself to storage, being merely sealed in plastic glued to the cardboard backing sheet. The backing sheet contains all the instructions and dimensions for the disks. The disks do match the specifications as to size and shape. The tiny ridges on both sides of the disk are very grippy. The disks do not slip off of each other when pressure is placed upon them vertically or if you try to pull them apart. The size is large and should be more than enough for even large furniture feet. These are intended for stationary furniture, so they are not really suitable for chair legs, particularly as they have no adhesive and are designed to prevent sliding, which chairs need to do. They can be used oas just one for minor adjustments or stacked for larger gaps. Given that they are not pretty, i consider them temporary if they would show. They can be semi-permanent or permanent if the furniture is to be rarely or never moved, in which case trimming the disks would make them not visible. TESTING: I tested only for strength and durability, as it was obvious that they can perform the leveling function. I placed two wedges together so that the tops and bottoms would be parallel to each other. I then placed them between heavy steel plates in a six ton hydraulic press and put 4 to 5 tons of pressure on them (Yep, tried to squish them). The held position and, other then flattening slightly, held their shape. When removed from the press, they looked the same as they did fresh out of the package. These disks can much more weight than you can put on them. These are going to make a some of my heavy items stand up straight again. Glad I ordered them. If you need something like this, this is a good buy.
