I'm using this for a Vive on a shelf above my computer desk. The stand involved only a bit of assembly but it was really easy - just snap the pieces together. The shelf neatly holds the headset, and the cable spool at the bottom is pretty handy (once I realized I needed to use the cable hook on one of the arms). I have the deluxe audio strap, and loosening it all the way made the headset slip all the way down to where it was resting on the upper velcro strap. I found the best way to use the deluxe audio strap with this stand was to loosen it all the way, hold it where you want it to sit, and tighten it just slightly. That way the strap grips the arms a little and holds the weight of the strap. My only concern with this is how light it feels. However, the base has a wide footprint, so I'm not super worried. There's some holes on the bottom that the instructions say you can use to screw something heavy to the bottom, but I haven't tried this. The stand is also a bit taller than expected - I have to lift my Vive out and to the side to get it out of the stand. Otherwise, I have no complaints! I'll update this review if I ever have problems with this stand tipping over. ... show more

Holds the HTC Vive well instead of having it lie on a side table next to my computer. It looks great as well. Biggest problem I have with it though is that the stand becomes very front heavy when the HMD is on the stand; it doesn't take much to have it tumble forward. The stand needs a simple weighted bottom to off-set this issue. The only other issue I have with the stand is that unless you have the Deluxe Audio Strap, you're going to be stretching out the Vive's headstrap (if you got the original version) if you try to secure it without adjusting it between uses. Still four stars though because I got what I expected and it does what I want it to, display the Vive and keep it off the table/ground. ... show more

This stand is great, easy to place and remove the headset, it stays put, and has the wire coil which is great for containing the associated wires.

It fits my vive perfectly (or should I say the vive fits IT perfectly...)! I did loosen the straps on my vive a little because I knew it would sit for a while and didn't want the braces on the skywin VR stand to leave an impression on the foam insert of the vive's viewport. I can agree with some people who say that it almost feels a little too front-heavy; it almost does. It remains stable but wouldn't take much to tip it forward if a headset is mounted on it. Otherwise it looks very nice and having the cord wound and out of the way using the recess provided on this VR stand is a big plus! Totally worth the money to me and I would recommend it to a friend! ... show more

i recently got the wireless kit for my vive pro which made everything even lighter so i thought why not try a stand holder and im very happy with this one. some said it tips over easily but i tried rocking it back and forth and it seemed very stead to me but if for whatever reason you want it even more steady you can remove the bottom cover by removing the 4 rubber pads and unscrewing the base and hot gluing weights to that base before screwing it back on to the stand. that will make it more bottom heavy and less prone to tipping over. if your like me and have the wireless kit then you dont need to do anything because its already rock solid in my opinion. ... show more

I like that it holds my oculus rift and that I can wrap the cable up for when I don't used it. My only complaint is that the back part requires me to stretch out the velcros so that it fits, and I don't like having to readjust it everytime I want to use the headset. I left the part off and it holds my oculus fine without it. Just wish the back support was adjustable or smaller. Other than that it's a great stand. I wish this company would make a stand for the motion controllers. ... show more

Finally my vive has a home, and the wire can be neatly coiled up. I don't use my vr set everyday so normally i would have my headset laying around or i would have to unplug the device and put it somewhere it wont get damaged. But now thanks to this stand i'm able tidy my desk and keep the vr attached to my pc. ... show more
