    • Exactly as described, perfectly clear... Not for MOST fish!
This is an interesting little tank, it is on the tall side for something that holds such a small volume of water. There are not a lot of options for live animals that could be kept in this humanely, it could hold either a young or inactive betta- but definitely not a female or short finned (plakat) betta, it is smaller than the minimum recommended tank size for them (2.5 gallons is the minimum). It would work well for a temporary holding tank or for a display tank. This could be used to keep a small group of freshwater shrimp, I would personally say 5 or 6 at the most which isn't much. It would be great for a plant and snail setup and having a large front viewing area would allow them to be seen easily despite the overall small tank size. I would strongly discourage anyone from putting any other type of fish in here, please do your research and look into something more in the range of 5-10 gallons at the least... There are many fish you can keep in such a size, but something this small will be incredibly difficult to keep clean. Read up on the nitrogen cycle if you are not familiar with it, in short- Fish produce waste which creates ammonia which is incredibly toxic to fish. The ammonia needs to be processed into Nitrite (also toxic), and then into Nitrate (less toxic but still bad at high concentrations). You REALLY need a filter to allow this process to complete, the beneficial bacteria will live in the filter media (sponges, usually) and will continue to process the fish waste as long as they stay healthy and alive. The smaller the volume of water you are working with, the faster ammonia builds up and the faster your fish will be in danger! If you plan to keep any kind of fish in here, plan on getting a nano sponge filter set up or expect to do very frequent (possibly every 2 days at the minimum) water changes of at least 50%. *Ahem* ...Anyways, this tank is exactly as described- it is small, crescent shaped in the front, and perfectly clear. It feels a lot like glass and feels like it was well made. It does not come with a lid, so plan to either make your own, find something that can be placed over the top temporarily or learn how to safely keep critters alive in an open top tank. Hint.. Snails will climb out of the water if the conditions are bad. (Dirty, temperature, toxins etc). Fish will jump when scared or even sometimes if they are just bored. Not having enough room for the species being kept could cause them to jump in an attempt to find a larger body of water. ... show more

This is a nice acrylic tank, and it would look good either in a corner or just free standing anywhere - the front of it is bowed out and rounded, which really adds a nice look to it - makes it dimensional instead of just having a straight, flat front My only concern is that if this is used for saltwater, that the seams hold - in the past, I had a round acrylic tank that I used for saltwater opai - it worked well for quite a while, but eventually started to leak at the seam that held the round bottom to the round top - I think that the salts, etc in the water eventually broke down the sealant - as shown, every side on this tank is being held together by a clear sealant - I will be using this one to raise freshwater snails in, so I am not anticipating any problems ... show more

The corner tank serves our needs quite nicely. We use it as a temporary home for our fish when their aquarium needs cleaning, or when we bring home a new goldfish. The plastic didn't have any issues with clarity. It's light enough to easily relocate when full, and it stores aquarium stones and decorations nicely when not in use by the fishes. ... show more

We love this tank with used it for multiple different breeds of fish if it’s awesome on our kitchen counter over in the corner against the wall right now we just had guppies one of the females had a baby so now there’s 20 mini guppy fry the pump keeps up perfectly with it. This tank is very small and would not be suitable for most fish so look into which ones you might be able to hold in here before getting them. With that said, the quality seems nice enough and it works well for holding a few snails in the corner of my dining room. It did not come with a lid, so be aware of that. This is a great little tank! I’m currently only filling it half way and using a turtle tank filter to create a fountain effect. This is big enough to hold a few small tropical fish. It might be okay for a betta, if the water level is kept lower (they live in puddles in the wild). I would not use this for goldfish, though, because they would outgrow the space quickly. ... show more

Would rate higher if I could! An absolutely wonderful and beautifully made little tank. Emphasis on little, though. It holds a little over a gallon once sand is added to it, roughly one and a half gallons without anything besides water. VERY clear, pristine viewing angles. The only cons are the low water volume lead to major water swings (ammonia doubling overnight for example) and because it's made of acrylic, it's extremely easy to scratch.
