I have 2 other drones, including an original Mavic Pro and a DJI Mini 2. The SkyRover S1 beats them all!!I am an experienced drone pilot (6 plus years, non-commercial). The SkyRover S1 is well constructed and thought out. The 3 batteries that this come with are generally good for 30 minutes as advertised. So far it has shown itself to be a good starter drone. Camera quality is really good, easy to fly. The biggest down side is that there are no clear instructions on the finer points of use. We've only taken it out about 5 times, so I'll update as I learn more.

I fly a drone at my job that cost $76k. I purchased the Skyrover S1 for at home recreation and I love it more than the fancy one at work. And it’s less than $400 bucks. Very resilient. Holds up in moderate winds like a champ. Goes very far with strong signal. And the camera quality is *amazing*. Very stable. All the features advertised here are exact. This is a cheap drone in price but it’s not a cheap drone in quality. I was very impressed with the quality. My only “wish it was better” is the zoom. I love that pictures/videos save right to my phone. If you’re on the fence - don’t be - get it now. I’ve had it for a week now and really pushed this thing. I purchased the SkyRover S1 in November, and after limited use, it developed a serious reliability defect. During normal flights, the drone lost signal and control, causing it to fly uncontrollably into walls and buildings. After these incidents, the gimbal became completely unstable and now shakes uncontrollably, making the drone unusable. This issue did not exist prior to the signal-loss events. To be clear, the gimbal bands and dampeners are intact and correctly installed and have not come loose or out of place. This confirms the problem is not a simple mechanical issue or user error, but an internal failure caused by the crashes resulting from connection loss. I attempted troubleshooting and recalibration, but the gimbal malfunction appears to be permanent. The drone can no longer be used as advertised. A drone that loses connection and control during flight presents a serious safety and reliability concern. This is not normal wear and tear — the damage occurred due to poor signal reliability and system stability. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and would not recommend it unless these issues are properly addressed by the seller or manufacturer. Buyers should be aware of this risk before purchasing. ... show more

If you are just getting into flying drones or getting a backup, this bundle is such a great deal. It's got pretty much the same interface as DJI. It's really compact and the case it comes with is really nice too so you won't need a backpack for it. The video quality impressed me for the price point. It looks awesome and you can crop in without losing too much detail. The sensors and gps work as they should to keep you up in the air and this thing is stable in wind.
