I was hesitant to buy this because there weren’t many reviews. I took the risk and bought it for my 3yr old son for Christmas. It has been awesome!! I’ve driven it more than my son. Chasing my kids around the house, “eating” their toys, driving though an obstacle course (my living room floor), and waiting to scare my husband when he come out of the bathroom. You’re gunna need a bigger boat…well, not exactly. This thing sure does get the kids excited. At first my 3 year old was mortified as this little shark drove after him. When he realized it wasn’t a real shark, and that dad was controlling it, he started having a blast. The controls are more of a drag button as opposed to a push button. It’s sturdy enough (took a couple head shots into the wall). Controlling is a little difficult as you have to steer while trying to make it go straight. When you push it to the side it does “hyper spins” (my children found this hilarious). Doesn’t have any sound effects. The tail moves and so does the jaw. ... show more

My son loved this at Christmas and shortly after it just stopped working. We changed the batteries and it just wouldn’t work anymore. Really bummed because it was neat. Waste of money and disappointing.

Cute toy with just a hint of creepiness to make it somehow kind of look and move like a real shark. It drives real well on our tile floors, I’m not sure how it would do on carpet or outside. Our four year old is terrified of it and won’t drive it unless she is sitting on the table or counter tops.
