  • Great headphones for the price!
Ok, so I’m normally a Skullcandy fanboy, here’s a small backstory. I’ve owned 3-4 ink’d wired headphones even washed em and they still worked, loved them, always deep bass and chrisp highs, I currently have some ink’d wireless headphones, didn’t disappoint, chrisp highs and deep bass(assuming now it’s an in ear thing). I actually like them better than the apple airpods... EXCEPT... when I started back at the gym and they were falling off my neck every time I laid down, drove me insane!! Saw a guy with some crusher headphones and I opted to get these the uproars(cost instead to see if I liked the on ear design. I though wth they can’t be too bad. I test most of my earphones with music from skrillex. They have a mixture of lows and highs so you can really hear just how “bright” they are. And I’ll throw in a classic like Jim Croce’s (time in a bottle) to hear a more genuine sound ... these didn’t disappoint me at all. Seems like Music that isn’t remastered might have a little reduction in sound so that’s why I say it isn’t always loud enough, I’d like for the choice to be able to turn it up just a little bit more. Ok, so I take them out of the box and charge them up, put them on listened at 3/4 volume and it didn’t have the over powering bass like they described in some online reviews I read, even at full volume still not overbearing with bass, I can live with that, highs are chrisp that don’t disappoint at all, i did feel like they cut back on the max volume of these just so they wouldn’t distort for any reason so today at the gym, I put them on and cranked them up, full volume is where my headphones stayed for a solid hour. My gyms music is pretty loud normally and with these on I could hear their music just a little bit but not enough to bother me, these don’t seem to have that much noise cancellation(prolly has a lot to do with the on ear design vs in ear or around ear). My phone was in my gym bag next to where I was working out never cut out, laid down did some bench press sat up and they stayed put, did a few sets of declined press and still stayed put, so far I’m pretty happy with these! An hour later I’m done with my routine get back in my car and look at how much battery was used and it was still at 100%! Super stoked I should be able to get several days between charges! Even after an hour of use they didn’t squeeze my head or anything. They are pretty light weight. I can’t say I’m 100% happy with my purchase but I’d say 90% happy with them. Happy enough to keep them until something better comes along. Pros: Lightweight Battery life Fitment for my 7 1/4” head Sound quality Cons Full volume isn’t too loud(for me) Minor noise cancellation I just picked these up today (1/23/19) so I can’t give a review of longevity on them just yet. I gave a 4 star review since the bass and overall volume isn’t up to par with their inked wireless earbuds. But still a solid set of earphones ... show more

  • Detailed Review! Perfect for Leisure and for Gym
The big claim for these is the wireless Bluetooth quality, the bass, and perfect sound for a fraction of the cost of Beats, Sony, etc, but what really impresses me is the sturdiness and comfort of them! I was torn between these and the Hesh 2.0, and, while the Hesh might have a few more features, and the over-ear style (as opposed to the on-ear style of these) might provide more "sound-sealing" I went with the Uproar, since I wanted a slightly less bulky look (and yeah, I wanted white ones!!). I was happy to find that they have just a little bit more weight to them than it appears in pictures, and have a very secure hold. Still light enough to be comfortable for hours, snug enough headband to hold still even while running (and of course lifting or doing plyos) but not so tight that it hurts. It's easy for me to get sharp pains on my actual ear cartilage and minor headaches with headsets or even tight-fitting hats, but with the super plush ear pillows and the snug fit I have yet to feel any soreness on my ears or my skull. In addition, the softness of the pillows keeps them from slipping around when I start to sweat during workouts. Definitely got what I wanted! I've used Skullcandy audio for close to 10 years; both over/on-ear and earbud styles and have always been happy. I only replaced my SC Ink'd earbuds (which have been awesome for years) because I really wanted to go wireless for the gym, and when doing cardio with earbuds, I could hear a thud in the sound every time the wires bumped against my body or the equipment (hard to avoid when doing cardio...) which can get annoying after a bit. I almost went with a Beats Solo Bluetooth set, which I'm sure I'd be stoked about, too, but given my success with Skullcandy, my not wanting to spend $200-$300, and not wanting to have to baby a really expensive pair, I ordered the Uproar instead and am SUPER stoked I did!! Just a bit of advice, practice with the ear cup buttons before getting deeply involved in anything. They're super easy to figure out but muscle memory makes everything easier and you won't be thrown off by hitting the wrong thing. All in all, the wireless convenience and look is unbeatable, the sound is amazing (I have a lot of heavy-bass hip-hop and dubstep/EDM on my workout playlist), the Bluetooth connects in 2 seconds, and they look and feel as flashy and high-quality as any other over-ears on the market. The battery life is amazing; don't have to re-charge every time I come home! Plus, they stand out and not every other guy or gal in the gym has 'em ;) If you haven't tried Skullcandy before, don't let the price fool you; these are fantastic!! ... show more

  • Pretty good for the cost
They stay on well during exercise and the sound quality is pretty good for the price. I bought a more expensive version and the head piece cracked within a couple of weeks. This is my 4th buy, because people borrow them and forget to ask. I bought the blue ones over a year ago and they’re still pumping out descent sound. ... show more

  • These work very well.
Sound quality is good, they're light but fit snugly. I never had a problem getting them to connect. I use them for audio. But I have also used them for conference calls on the phone. The only issue I had with my first pair was the covers on the earpads eventually came loose. I finally had to buy a second pair. Really like them. ... show more
