    • These were great until they were unusable
Edit 7/14/24: These headphones lasted a long time for me. They just broke in the middle and one of the speakers isn't working great anymore. They were great while they lasted, if you take care of them they will serve you well. Edit 2/1: I received my replacements and they immediately connected with my phone. These still work great, have great sound and are very comfortable. I have yet to try another device, will update to see how that goes. When I first got these everything was easy. I charged them up first, easily paired them with my phone and off I was enjoying great sounding super comfortable headphones. A couple days ago I purchased a new phone and after setting it up the way I wanted I decided to pair them with the headphones. The headphones name (Riff Wireless) weren't showing up on the Available bluetooth devices list. Weird, I thought, but no problem maybe they can only have one device stored at a time on them (the headphones). I turned on my old phone (I had turned it off days before) and they immediately connected with the headphones, due to the prior set up. So I made the phone forget the headphones and again tried to connect to the new phone, nothing. I tried to pair with my old phone, the phone the headphones were JUST paired with and now they aren't showing up on the list. I read through the instructions again and they were of no help. This is very frustrating as I just purchased these (1/7/2022) and I've only used them a handful of times, now they won't pair or even show up on the Available devices list and from what I have been looking at there isn't a way to troubleshoot this problem. Things I have tried: 1. Turning off the bluetooth on both phones and turned off the head phones, then turned everything back on. 2. Shut down both phones completely as well as the headphones, that also did not work. 3. Plugged the headphones in to charge, let them charge completely, shut down both phones again and once they were booted back up turned on the headphones and still nothing. I will see about exchanging these, but this is still incredibly frustrating. ... show more

    • I had these headphones for almost three years, this is my experience.
The media could not be loaded. I like these headphones. They’re light and don’t hurt my ears from wearing them for long periods of time like the hesh 2 however... One of the adjustable bands cracked after only a month of regular use. They were not dropped, they were not over stretched I was just putting them on when ‘crack’ the band broke. I was thankfully able to get them replaced pretty quickly. This was back in April of 2018, like the Hesh 3 they are easily broken. The new pair worked fine but after months of prolonged use the coverings of the cushions started slipping of at random points. they are a bit of a pain to put back on and it happens a lot. something else to note that today (10/16/2020) the swivel part of the headphones snapped in half after I dropped my backpack the wrong way. Again easily broken, which is not a good thing as I am an accident prone person. I am rough on my gear though unintentionally. The plastic is also easily scratched on the edges. 2/5 stars in durability Sound quality is over all excellent, they have quite a bit of power for their size. The amount of base you can get from these is rather impressive. The sound is clear and crisp and can make you feel like you're listening to your favorite song for the first time again. 4/5 stars for sound quality. The over all design is much sleeker than the Hesh 2 and even the Hesh 3 which is very nice and they come in decent color variety. The buttons are easy to figure out. The coating on the plastic doesn't peal like the Hesh 2 and stays clean. The only real glaring issue here is the literal glaring blue blinking light. I used them in the dark a lot and the blue can illuminate my room well enough for me to pick out object on the opposite side from where i am sitting. 4/5 Fashionable design They said the battery life is about 12 hrs and thats what you get. I use mine quite often so I have to charge them a lot. They're not very good for long distance travel if you don't have a way to charge them. other than that i have no qualms with the batteries. 4/5 battery life It is what it is. I need new headphones now and since I have had pretty good luck with Skullcandy, I am considering the Crusher series as my next purchase. Please note: I am not and expert. Good quality Perfect size not too bag or small for my teen, sounds great, Can also make and take calls perfectly. Great price lasted her 2 years and only issue was peeling pads on ears
