These are, to me at least, very impressive headphones. The setup was very simple, especially since they came charged with 80% battery. They paired very easily with my laptop. The sound quality is great, the kind of quality where you start hearing sounds in songs you never knew were there before. It has particularly strong bass, which I noticed first playing GTA, it added a bit more oomph to the explosions. There is a very slight but noticeable delay between seeing things and hearing them when using them wirelessly, but I'm not going to deduct for that because they do come with an aux cord, so they are still, in my opinion, perfectly functional for things where timing is important, such as gaming. The range of these things, especially as someone used to corded headphones, is insane to me. I can go to either end of my house or even outside to the edge of the porch and still hear high-quality audio of whatever is playing on my laptop They are also comfortable to wear, being significantly lighter than my previous headphones Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking to buy a pair, especially with them being priced near half the cost of other headphones I've seen ... show more

Great sound for prince and the don’t hurt my ears like a lot of headphones. Only drawback is the don’t have transparency or if the do have it I can’t get it to work but it’s not a dealbreaker cause these are great at price point.

I bought these to replace another set of Bluetooth headphones I bought for my Samsung tv. The others covered the entire ear, which I realized I don’t like. These sit on top of the ears, which I find more comfortable. These still seem to not quite sync with the video. The audio actually seems to be very slightly ahead of the video. I’ve watched multiple different streaming services and it’s the same on all. Most of the time, I can ignore it, though sometimes it gets annoying. The other, cheap ones I bought would get even more out of sync at every commercial break. These just stay the same. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable. These things are GREAT for the price. I can feel comfortable using these for every day application, be it work, exercise, gaming or leisure. They’re not the best sound quality on the market by any means, but they get the job done and I don’t have to worry about replacing them if they break or something else bad happens. They’re lightweight, sleekly designed, have an adjustable band that should fit just about anyone, and I can even pair with up to two devices simultaneously which is super convenient when I’m in a gaming session but need to make sure I’m available for emergency calls. I have had the privilege of owning several pairs of Skullcandy headphones over the last few years. They are light, very comfortable, and have impressive sound quality. The one thing that bugged me about the others was the flashing blue LED, which is quite bright. When using the headphones at night, the flashing LED was quite annoying. I fixed that problem with a small piece of black vinyl tape and that worked. I recently purchased the Riff 2 headphones and find out that the light seems to be several times brighter. I tried to contact the Skullcandy product support network and was told repeatedly that turning the headphones off will stop the light from flashing, but what good is that if you want/need the headphones on? The LED is in a spot that prevents tapeing it over so I am stuck with it. (I have been living with tinnitus so severe that sleep is near impossible without having a certain type of sound to mask the sirens which is why I use headphones at night and why the flashing light is such an issue for my wife and I.) I also found that the volume and function switch is not in a good spot for operation and is hard to feel . The charging cord is only three inches long. Other than that these are comfortable headphones with a long battery life (manufacturers claim but not verified by me) and sound good for what they are. FOLLOW UP REVIEW: Pardon my dissatisfaction on the blue LED and the product support calls. I went into my cell phones connection options and turned off the "Calls" toggle and kept the "Audio" on and this resulted in the flasher being turned off after 30 seconds or so. ... show more
