  • Good sound, Amazing Battery 🔋 life
Color: True Black
I previously owned another pair from Skullcandy that I really liked, especially for listening to music, so I decided to try the Skullcandy Mod. Compared to my previous pair, the volume on this one is slightly lower, but I actually prefer it that way, it feels more balanced and comfortable for longer listening sessions. I’ve been using them for about three months now, and so far, so good. The battery life is impressive, it lasts around two to three days without needing to recharge, depending on my usage. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • My favorite earbuds My favorite earbuds
Color: True Black
Perfect for my needs. I've had this kind for a couple years now (needed a replacement cause i accidentally ran them over with a car) and im still very happy with them. I'm not an expert on sound quality but it sounds fine to me, the charge lasts me a long time even with heavy use, the case is small and light so it's easy to carry everywhere, and I've dropped them plenty but they're still going strong, but what I love the most are the controls. I love how I can pause or skip my music with the earbuds but because they have buttons instead of touch pads, there's little risk of doing it on accident. ... show more

  • They’re nice, but only get these with a discount. They’re nice, but only get these with a discount.
Color: Light Grey/Blue
They’re earbuds. They have battery life. (Actually the battery life is pretty impressive tbh.) Sound is not stellar in comparison to cheaper wired in-ears, but they are convenient to use, have nice build quality and finish, and the app that works with them fortunately isn’t compromised by complicated controls. These are only realistically worth the money when you can buy them for less than $60. I got them for $40, which is more or less what they should be priced at in general. That being said, they are significantly nicer than any other cheap buds you can find from Chinese sellers, and they have as good, if not better sound, build, and finish quality than anything from Raycon, for a significantly lower price. (Seriously, never buy anything with Raycon branding, they’re ripping you off.) One really nice thing I like about these buds is that you can adjust them all you like with your grimy fingers and rarely, if ever, accidentally make them do something unintended, like activate Siri or pause a song you’re listening to; you have to press them very deliberately to make them do anything, which I like a lot. You can modify the touch inputs too by using the app. Maybe more color varieties would be nice, but obviously it would cost more to make other color combinations besides black, or this grey and teal. Perhaps more silicone ear pieces with more sizes would be appreciated, since my own ears are a bit awkward, but that’s just my own issue. ... show more

  • Durable. Durable.
Color: True Black
I’ve had these for a few months now and I am incredibly impressed. The sound quality is AMAZING battery life is even better I can charge this thing and have it last me a MONTH before I need to charge it again. It’s accidentally been through my washer and dryer TWICE by mistake and works PERFECTLY after all that abuse. The case is also a lot more durable than I would’ve expected it to be when I first got it. It fits well in my pocket and they’re comfortable in my ears and don’t hurt as much as earbuds usually do for me. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone I know who is looking for nice earbuds. They’re also great at cancelling out noise which was unexpected as well. All photos I’ve attatched in this review are after going through my washer and dryer twice and months of use. ... show more

  • Often defective, 3 out of 4 for me Often defective, 3 out of 4 for me
Color: Light Grey/Blue
The shape and sound are good. Mostly defective and somehow used products are in supply chain. I bought 4 of these units because my workplace requires them, and 3 out of 4 had the battery defect, straight out of the box. Nothing can be done to correct them. 3 out of the 4 were used items, sealed back up in the box. I would never have had known if I didn't get all 4 because they were missing small parts of the internal packing material. Skullcandy should recall these and only stock fixed units. You can't pair them to another set because they are locked to each other from the factory. I marked my units that were bad so others won't get them again. I'm keeping the one good set. ... show more

  • They're okay ..if you want a more sterile sound
Color: True Black
I had these for a few months before they failed .. unfortunately Skullcandy's warranty claim is a pain and the items on their store site aren't always in stock to easily replace ..on top of that they still force you to pay shipping for your replacement, so needless to say I didn't bother replacing what would be my third set. These were okay for the most part when they worked. I experienced some cutout and laggy audio at times. I wish the ear funnel protruded a little deeper in the ear like the Sesh ANC and Grind fuels that I had, this has a short funnel and I found myself pushing the buds in from time to time ..especially when mowing the lawn. As for sound: I personally like neutral with a slight bump in bass to add warmth. They market these as having deep bass ..but that deep bass comes off as flat and the general sound signature feels thin, like sterile flat ..the highs come off a bit shrill at times with sharp/piercing S sounds that even made me wince every now and then. Had the bass and sub-bass was actually even true for any ounce being deep, things would sound a bit warmer and with more body, but these came off as thin sounding even when using an EQ to bring the best out of it. The included AAC encoding is a nice thought, but not well utilized due to the flat sound, so it almost sounds as if you're just running SBC no matter what device you're on. Clarity is negligible in difference by comparison on my pixel 3 XL and my iPhone 12. Battery wasn't the best, but was okay. I found myself charging more often than when I had the grind fuel (my personal favorite that was discontinued). At $50 I'm surprised these even have button controls, since I've now had cheaper buds with touch controls If you don't care about the encoder, I'd say save yourself $30 and go get a pair of jlab go air pop or the updated Go pop+ version that now has the USB-C charger, has app EQ connection, the bass is deeper, and everything sounds fuller and warmer on those and the battery is decent. Plus you get touch controls for $25 ..or moon drop space travel if you can look past the annoying no top case design. Unfortunately, these will be my last Skullcandy wireless buds as the price to performance just isn't there. Personally, the grind fuel was the best of their more recent lineup after a slight EQ tuning, those should've been updated with new stuff instead. But those were also pricey at around $80. I'll stick to the Jlab go pop+ for $25, those have bass and sound that matched the grind fuel I liked. ... show more

  • They sound great and connection is stable
Color: True Black
I've owned many pairs of skullcandy headphones and earbuds and I think they are decent for the price. Now... After I misplaced for the 1kth time the og indy, I figured I'd get soem with tile. I got the indy anc and I hated that it always started with the anc on. Also, in the two days that I used them, they were so glitchy (specially the right one). Sent those back and got these. The shape is different but not uncomfortable at all. Connection is solid and can have my phone and tablet connected at the same time. Haven't had any issues and I've been able to find them quickly!! (Cuz I still never know where I leave things) ... show more
