  • Skullcandy review
These fit great, they function fine. I just wish the sound blocking technology was little better. I really like these they fit fine, don’t hurt my ears. But i do have others that block background noise better or noise canceling works better. I compare by wearing while on lawnmower cutting grass. These i must turn volume higher. I did LIKE FACT with app can run a sound test and it tunes these buds for YOU!! For your hearing. For price point a 5 star product. I think will be happy you bought. ... show more

  • Too big for women in our family
Works well, but even the smallest ear bud adapter is too big for myself or my teenage daughters. I can wear them for an hour, but then it hurts too much. The noise canceling worked well on an airplane flight. I just couldn't keep them in because of the pain. They work great for my husband.

  • Ear fitment is great
Love these earbuds. They are not a "top" brand but they sound and fit just as well as others. Pairing can be difficult at times when first setting up, but work great. I use them on my Samsung galaxy s21+

  • Decent Budget ANC Option
These earbuds are, in short, quite exceptional for the price. (For reference, I bought them when the reflected price was $50.) They deliver on their promise of active noise cancellation when both earbuds are being used, however they understandably shut this feature off when one earbud is off. In addition, they provide decent budget sound quality, long battery life, and make Bluetooth pairing extremely easy. The only definite negative I’ve encountered so far is there are quite limited options included for resizing the buds. They come with the traditional small, medium, and large ear inserts and a couple options for upper ear support, both of which I’ve found stretch my ear in a slightly uncomfortable way. All-in-all, however, I could easily give these guys four stars for the price and quality, especially if you need an option that sees a lot of wear for work or exercise. ... show more

  • Static and connectivity issues
Personal sound on firmware version 0008 combined with active noise cancelling turned on causes intermittent garbled static that is jarring to listen to; if you're looking for something pleasing to listen to on a personalized soundstage, you're better off going with a currently supported version of one of Skullcandy's products. Other than that, there is a mild connectivity issue where when the headphones are connected to a bluetooth device without personalized sound, the connection refreshes for less than a second and fixes itself instead of constantly and seamlessly updating; this issue has been more apparent for me when connected to my smart TV for uninterrupted listening of broadcasts during hours I wish not to disturb my neighbors. ... show more

  • Beyond impressed with these, BUT... (EDIT - ONE YEAR LATER)
I got these while on sale (Feb, 2022) so the price is well worth it. The sound is really good. Played some Dubstep on them first thing, heard all the wubba-wubba sounds very well. Thicc bass, no need to boost it. Overall they're very full sounding, not "tinny". The ANC works very well, I do NOT understand the negative reviews. Maybe they got a bad set? Skull Candy is good stuff, but not premium, so I guess it's possible to get a bad pair of buds? Mine work 100% and do their job well. I bought these for work since I deal with loud rattling metal machines all day. These are life savers, I would damage my hearing without them. I almost bought a much more expensive pair but I tried these first, and I'm so glad I did. I got the Chill Gray ones so they look AWESOME, especially with the blue LED, very modern. The app works well. Not a ton of options, but I DID do the custom sound level by Audiodo and it makes an actual difference, It's not a gimmick. I activated Tile in case I lose them. The touch options are nice with these too. Each bud has different controls, so It's different from 99% of touch controls on most other ear buds, but you get used to it. (I also love the accent of the voice when you change options. Best way to describe it is: a hott, boujee, british chic ...LOL!) My car has a wireless charging pad built in that I never use... until now, since these have a wireless charging case. Now they're always charged for work. Love that! And lastly, the comfort. I'm still trying out the different "gels", but all-in-all they're comfortable. Although I can understand the negative reviews about them hurting after a while even with the smallest gels. Hopefully mine don't end up in the negative review section, I really like them. EDIT July 2023 - Bought a 2nd pair. The left earbud went out like so many apparently do, but I still gave them another try because I liked them so much. We'll see if they only last a few months... ... show more

  • Decent
Probably some of the less amazing sounding skull candy earbuds. Whenever I open the case they often fail to connect or even turn on. If you have them in for any amount of time you have to reconnect because audio will lag behind. Not the worst earbuds I've ever had but for the price I'd recommend something from Samsung, Apple, or even Google. They are a bit more but we'll worth it. I don't like just crapping on skull candy I've used them for years but these earbuds are a pretty big miss. ... show more

  • Awesome buds
Awesome battery life, sound quality and noise canceling are better than the apple ones at a fraction of the price. I have multiple Skullcandy products and they are all top notch.
