Update: I found a solution. Holding down the button on the non-working earbud, I was able to turn it off, place it back in the battery charger/holder, and it started working again. So it wasn't planned obsolescence, I just thought it was. This solution wasn't found on their website or their support articles, it was found on reddit. TIL. Old review: One earbud stopped working after 11 months of use The sound was great, but planned obsolescence seems to be what too many electronic companies participate in, in order to get more sales. But this customer won't ever buy from them again. I tried all of their troubleshooting steps, on both the documentation that came with the earbuds and the ones on their website (which were the same), but it didn't help. I would contact support directly but they don't offer it past a certain time after purchase. I didn't rate the noise cancellation because I never used it. My wired ZeroAudio earbuds, however, still work after almost 7 years of use. I've accidentally yanked them out of my ears so many times while exercising or mowing, but they still sound great. Ironically, the earbud in the photo with the blue light on is the one that doesn't play any sound.

I ordered the Skullcandy wireless earbuds used but like new condition to save a few bucks upon arrival I opened the box a found that it was only the case with the earbuds. I looked thoroughly through the box and found that there was no charger cable provided with the earbuds I did some research and borrowed a cable from a friend I proceeded to charge the ear buds they were completely dead so charging took about two hours. I downloaded the Skullcandy app and connected the buds to my iPhone put them on and went for a walk about 10 minutes into wearing them the left bud shut off I tried reconnecting by pairing them and shutting off the Bluetooth and turning back on it appears that the left bud has a red light on after reading reviews it appears that this is a common problem sense I didn’t get a charging cable and already had issues pairing and working properly I will be returning them.

I bought these more for just listening to audio books on the treadmill, but the sound quality is great and they come with a lot of cool features. Sometimes I have connection problems. Here's my takeaways after 2 months of moderate use. Pros: The app is great. I started by pairing the buds and setting up my sound profile, which took 10-15 minute of sound tests. In the app, I can customize all the controls and settings, which is more than I've ever had with any headphones (these are my first actual wireless buds). I haven't tried things like the voice assistant or audio sharing, but I did set up the included Tile integration, which helped me find these a couple times already, so I highly suggest setting that up. Stay-aware is a great feature idea. If I'm the only one home, I'll turn that on so I can hear if the dogs need to go out, but it hugely affects the experience of what I'm listening to, so I usually have it off. I imagine it's much more useful while working outside, mowing the lawn, etc. Additionally, in the app, I can see the power levels of each ear bud. Cons: There's two things I've seen with this. First is that I believe the buds should charge from the case even when the case is not plugged in but has power. I'm not convinced it's doing this all the time. Second, and more important is the connectivity. 95% of the time, there's no problem, but on a few occasions I've had trouble getting them to connect or stay connected. While it's very rare, it's very frustrating when it happens. Over all, I'm happy with them and enjoying the amount of features and quality for the price.

this is my third set of this model - I like them... they last a while before needing recharged and the case holds a good amount of backup charge. They connect easily, voice control is good, sound good, fit well however - first set stopped working - sent back to skull candy - never received a replacement - tried to reach someone and eventually gave up second set - after a while - one ear was half volume - not dirty - just less volume - so I bought this set...

I got my first pair with a Christmas bonus six years ago. I use mine everyday and they've been with me almost everywhere I go. Cutting the grass, lunch hour at work and even all over the planet on a plane. The sound and comfort are great for me. I don't have a comparable alternate option but I had the Jabra Active ones and these beat them like a red headed stepchild. More than enough battery with audible percentage warnings and the bass is deep and quite impressive. My old pair still work fine and I've noticed no degradation of quality but the buttons are punched through on the sides and I am sure that might leave me without a usable set so the new pair was bought just as a supplemental pair until the old ones collapse and burst into flames. Would be 10 stars if there was an option. Would definitely buy again and again. They cost TWICE as much on the brand website.

I bought these after I lost my Grind earbuds. These GrindFuel earbuds worked really well for one month and one week and then the right earbud stopped working, right outside the return window. After the right side went out the case stopped holding charge for long periods of time. My left side would run out of charge after 2-3 hours instead of 10. 3 months after purchase and both sides now no longer work. They will connect to the phone but not play any sound. Sucks because they were super comfortable and I loved using them but I would not recommend buying them to anyone.

This was my third pair of these same ear buds and I'm very disappointed and had to return them. My first two pair are amazing. I ordered another pair to add to the rotation of my other two as I tend to use earbuds for far too many hours of the day and sleep with them at night, as well. They are comfortable to wear day and night and mostly stay in place while I'm doing moderate exercise. As soon as this set were delivered, I followed the directions and plugged them in to charge. The left ear bud would not charge and the case got very hot. I then put them in the case of one of the other (same model) earbud sets that I own and eventually the left earbud indicated that it was 100% charged (according to the blue LED light on earbud, voice report when pairing, and status on SkullIQ app), but would drop to 30% within minutes of use after pairing. After trying multiple times unsuccessfully to get the left earbud to maintain a charge, I returned earbuds and received a refund. May have just been a bad battery, as my other two sets of these same earbuds have been awesome. The overheating of the charging case was very concerning, though. The cases of my other two sets have never gotten hot to the touch. I like the wireless charging option these earbuds offer, but I don't be ordering another set unless I can be assured I won't come across the same problem.

I do decorative concrete Coatings, so the dust usually beats the crap out of Everything. Well with that being said. For being constantly Dropped and covered in concrete dust and coated in epoxy or top coat, they stay pretty consistent. This is my 4th pair only because I loose one. Never stopped working. Yesterday was a new one, i dropped an earbud in a Pool for about a minute B4 I could fetch it out and it never stopped playing and never had any issues.
