I won't lie, I was VERY skeptical of these earbuds. As someone who usually goes all out with electronics, I got these because they were cheap and looked really cute, and I didn't think they'd be all that great. I was WRONG. I never expected them to exceed my expectations so heavily. The sound quality is great, the noise cancellation is AMAZING, and they're very comfortable. Sound quality: The bass really hits, the vocals sound incredible, and the volume is great. It's the tiniest bit airy, but the sound quality is definitely better than my Skullcandy Hesh 2's, and those cost me at least triple when they'd first came out. Noise cancellation: As someone with sensory issues/environmental overstimulation, it's hard to find something that blocks out sound while feeling light & comfortable. These are all of the above! When I'm not listening to anything, it blocks out most sounds and noises, minus maybe loud talking or the TV. When I'm listening to music, there's no noise whatsoever. I can't even hear my boyfriend if he's shouting in the same room as me (which he only does to get my attention since now I can't hear him with them in haha). Microphone quality: Not great at all, I won't lie. But, I doubt anyone would be buying these for the microphone capabilities outside of maybe taking calls. They're good enough to take calls, but not much else. Battery life: For the price, the battery life is great. 3-4 hours of consistent use and you can put them back in the charging case for 45 minutes for another 3-4 hours. The case charges fully in about 5 hours, so I charge it overnight & it's great for everyday listening. I use these when I'm cleaning around the house, riding my bike, cooking, and for gaming at my PC as well. The battery lasts through all of it, and if you're inactive they'll enter power saving mode as well. Aesthetics: These remind me a lot of Beats earbuds. But, I genuinely prefer the looks of these. They're bright & fun, the Skullcandy logo is cute & minimal. The charging case is cute, but when the earbuds are out the two slots are open, so I might opt for getting an extra case around them. The case is about the size of a car key remote, and it can fit nicely on any keychain or lanyards. Overall, I'm EXTREMELY happy with these earbuds so far. Definitely the best bang for your buck, and maybe even better than some of the $50 earbuds I've tested. They're great. If your intuition is telling you to get them, do it. I bought these because I wanted a cheap pair of earbuds to wear to the gym that I didn't have to worry about the price of them if they somehow are damaged, get lost, or are stolen while I'm there. I've used a fair number of Skullcandy products in my life and have always been a fan, so I decided on these guys. Price point was right and an added bonus is the ones I chose are bright red - perfect for trying to find them if they pop out onto the dark blue gym floor. Anyway, I charged them up and gave them a try and was genuinely surprised with the sound quality. I've been using the first run of Skullcandy Indys for a couple years now and the sound quality from the Dimes is honestly pretty close to being on par with those. Certain frequencies may not be as detailed but it's still pretty impressive. They fit well in my ears and don't seem like they're wanting to pop out with every movement like my pair of JLab Airs do, which is another huge bonus. The control buttons on the sides are a bit tricky to get used to but I've found if you hold the entire stem between your forefinger and thumb in the right positions, the buttons give a little easier. I very rarely use touch controls, though, so that's not a major issue for me. I've seen alot of other reviews that claim these earbuds are trash but I'd contest that heavily. If I compared them to my ANC Sony headphones, sure, they're nowhere near as detailed or rich. But it's a $20 pair of earbuds. Have realistic expectations for that fantastic price point. For the price, I have no big complains, audio is good, they fit nice as well and the Tile functionality is very welcome too. However I have just a couple of complaints: - Mic isn't great. Expect to have lots of noise in the background when you speak, also audio capture of your voice is pretty low. - Not sure if the batteries of mine are faulty or are supposed to work that way. Usually I charge the case with the earbuds stored until de light is green. after that, I use them for a couple of hours and put them away again in the case until the next day, only to find both, the case and the earbuds with no charge. Isn't that strange? They are great looking earbuds, love their style and for general purposes are OK, but the battery performance is very baffling in my case. ... show more

This is such a great starter set for anyone. We are an Apple family but their earbuds / headphones are so expensive. Before buying some for my 12 year old, I wanted to make sure that he could be responsible enough for something like this. So I purchased these for him to try out and put them in his Easter basket. They are his favorite gift!! He hasn’t asked for the Apple branded AirPods since! My older son has them so it’s not an out of sight out of mind type of thing. He loves these things! The battery life seems to last time all day. He really enjoys the sound quality and while he plays his music and shows loud sometimes, I can never hear it when sitting near him. This set is super compact and easy to carry around in your pocket. We love the red color because it’s easy to spot them when you drop them or forget them somewhere. With everything being black and white lately, my son looses things. The red color is a huge selling point for us. Overall, we highly recommend this set! I’m not even sure if I’ll upgrade him to AirPods or stick with this brand when he’s finished with these headphones. They’ve at least bought me some time to figure that out. ... show more
