I recently gave my Skullcandy Crusher earphones to my (now) ex girlfriend to borrow, we'll now they're hers because she loved them. I had been wanting to try something new anyway because those had sat on my ears not over them. I'm in love with these. They fit perfectly over my ears, as usual for skullcandy they sound amazing, and after multiple days I've still yet to need to charge them. I’m not sure where to start. Should I mention the incredible sound quality? Comfort? Adjustable bass slider? Or the battery life? I bought these headphones several months ago with the intention of using them at the gym, but I ended up using them mostly for listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Sounds quality has been good for that and the comfort allows me to wear them for hours at a time. Recently, I got a record player with Bluetooth capabilities so while I wait for my RCA receiver and speakers, I’ve been using the Evo Crushers. If you want a fully immersive experience with your music, if you want to be completely engulfed in your favorite songs with the perfect amount of bass, you want this headset. From Hozier, to Lindsey Sterling, to Billie Eilish, these headphones will transport you INTO your music. The wireless connectivity is quick and easy on any device I’ve tried thus far including my iPhone, my computer and now my Sony Record Player. The quality is sturdy and they don’t feel flimsy or cheap at all. I spent more on my Beats wireless headphones and didn’t get near the quality I have from the Evo Crushers. Functionally, they are easy to use. I figured out the buttons easily without having to read the manual. Additionally, the battery life is incredible! They’re advertised to have a 40hr battery life but I got these in I think June? And the only time I have charged them was in June. When they first came out of the box. I use them at least 3-4 days a week for a few hours and have yet to need to charge them. Battery is still at 60%. I’m not a frequent reviewer of the things I buy but these needed to be bragged on! If you are a bass head, you will love these. The bass is adjustable and can be skull shaking. But, if you are sometimes not in the mood for bass, you can turn it down pretty low. About two years ago, I was shopping at my school's bookstore for a new pair of headphones and I had remembered a pair my friend had recommended to me. The Skullcandy Crusher Evos. I saw them there for a good price, and I bought them to replace my old Skullcandy Hesh Evos that were never really good to begin with. From that day onward I was in love. I'd tried to replace them. $250 Beats headphones here, $300 Sony headphones there. But nothing ever compared to these Crushers, man. I STILL used them. Notice how I said used? On the night of February 24th, 2025... I accidentally sat on my Skullcandy Crusher Evos. I broke the left side off. I considered duct tape. I considered super glue. But I knew deep down... they were gone. It was the biggest tragedy of my life. So what did I do? Do research to get an even better pair? Try and make it so I get a pair of headphones that never break and have amazing audiophile approved quality? Use one of my other pairs I still have (the Beats and Sony UltWear)? No. I went on Amazon and paid $200 for a new pair of the same headphones. And they are so great! Sound quality is exactly what I wanted. Rich, warm, but also crystal clear. It's not in the mud like the Beats and Sonys were, but it's still got that epic bass I'm looking for! And the new improvements like the comfort and the USB-C charging are so nice, not to mention the Tile interactivity to tracking. All in all, a great buy! I just hope I don't sit on these.
