I bought these hoping they would recreate at least a little of the feeling of standing in front of the 15 inch subwoofer stacks at a Sabaton (metal) concert. I honestly didn't expect them to deliver this well. The biggest surprise wasn't just the amount of bass—it was that I didn't have to max out the volume to get the experience I wanted. The haptic bass adds a physical sensation that makes the music feel alive. Instead of constantly reaching for the volume button, I found myself completely satisfied at a much lower volume than I normally listen to. I've thrown everything at them tonight: brutal death metal, horror carnival EDM, dubstep, metalcore, hardstyle, FFDP, I Prevail, and Sabaton. Every genre has been an absolute blast. The bass is huge, but I was impressed that I could still hear the guitars, vocals, and drums clearly. The best way I can describe it is this: they don't just play the music—they make you feel like you're in it. These immediately became my workout headphones. If a pair of headphones can make me genuinely excited to get on a treadmill, they're doing something right. If you're looking for perfectly flat studio headphones, these probably aren't for you. I've owned a lot of headphones over the years, and these are easily some of my favorites. The sound quality is clear and balanced, but the adjustable Crusher bass is what really sets them apart. When you want extra bass, it delivers without taking away from the overall listening experience. They're very comfortable to wear, even during long listening sessions. The over-ear design does a great job of blocking outside noise, making it easy to enjoy music, podcasts, or movies without distractions. Bluetooth pairing was quick and reliable, and the battery life has been outstanding. I can use them for days before needing to recharge, which is perfect for travel and everyday use. The built-in microphone also works well for phone calls. Overall, these headphones are an excellent choice if you enjoy powerful bass, long battery life, and all-day comfort.     • AMAZING HEADPHONES!
Legitimately the best purchase I’ve made in the past year. I got these about 8 months ago as a Christmas present to myself, and boy have they been a gift. They are so comfortable, can be very loud if you want, and of course that bass slider is insane. I’m not even a bass-head, but it’s there if you want it and sometimes it does help the quality of a song. Also, the battery stays charged for so long that I often am surprised when it needs to charge because it’s been so long since I last charged it, and it also takes so little time to charge. Immediately upon buying them I started noticing how many other people in my life already own a pair, and if that’s not testament to how good they are, I don’t know what is. Good to use in the gym, I use them 4 times a week and just make sure I wipe them down after to make them last as long as possible. They do slide around a little like if you’re doing bench press, they start to fall backwards, but for most things this isn’t really an issue. One of the best headphones. Worth the money on the bass option alone. I have both the Evo and ANC 2 and the Evo won by a landslide. Evo has better natural bass, sound, controls and can listen to all music and rap heavy bass songs. The ANC 2 are sloppy sounding, the noise canceling sucks, bass sounds unnatural and digitized, muddy vocals just not an overall polished product. If you a bass head go with the Evo's and save yourself the headache and hassle of getting the ANC 2 and returning them like I did. ... show more

You can really feel the bass with these headphones and I recommend it for anyone who loves and enjoys music. It fits nicely and is definitely worth the price. I feel like my headphones never die and they last a lifetime. I committed to giving this headset another chance by wearing them exclusively for an extended period. They do still squeeze my ears but the controls are the easiest I've ever had. And the Bluetooth connection is solid. It can only connect to one device at a time but it pairs easily and doesn't drop. The music I like isn't bass heavy but when turned all the way up,the bass actually vibrates the ear pieces. I never experienced that with my Bose. Then again,the Bluetooth connection with the Bose can drop and it doesn't always connect right away without having to go into the app. And that's another thing,the Skull Candy app is very straightforward. I'm glad I stopped pouting about and comparing these unfavorably. They're quite decent. I just wish the earpieces were softer. I'll check for replacements. Original review: Oh, how I wish I'd returned these. They're too tight, for starters and, months in they haven't worn in or stretched out. They're uncomfortable after 5 minutes. I'm no audiophile but these don't provide a rich or full sound. The battery life is excellent and they look like they're brand new, only partly because they're so seldom used. first off, i took a hot gander and some of the other reviews here before buyin' these bad boys. my gut feeling (and newly-discovered vision superpowers) told me that these were actually legit glowing reviews, written by legit people who know music -- which really tickled my fancy. B) i was correct. And so were they. these headphones blew my brand new socks right through the bottom of my shoes (which is why I'm back on Amazon, ordering more). Jokes aside, and as an extremely avid musician and audiophile, I'm beyond impressed by what Skullcandy has created here. i used to own a pair of Skullcandy cans back in 2016 and they were so bad that I still have the pair of socks I wore that day, and they're still in mint condition. I've also ripped through like 17 sets of BEATS, Sennheiserss, Sony, Audio Technikas, and other nameless brands commonly found in the "protected" section of Walgreen's. these are by far the best and make sennheiser sound like Teddy Ruxbin farting the National Anthem. that and the price is unbeatable for the caliber of sound you're getting. very, very highly recommend these to any and all. enjoy + be sure not to wear your favorite socks. deuces, CS / CS / OLAW ... show more
