I purchased this for my daughter, who is almost 2yo, to take her to a concert at an outside venue. I thought that would be the only time it was used, if I were to actually use it because everyone made fun of me for “putting my kid on a leash.” I use it all the time! My daughter loves to wear it. We use it when we are around water to keep her safe. She is quick & I don’t trust people. The leash unclips at the bottom so you can remove it. The inside is big enough to hold a few diapers, a small travel pack of wipes, a few snacks, & there is a little pocket on the side for a sippy cup. It just has to be a narrow cup nothing bulky would fit. It’s well made & I definitely recommend it! You’ll use it more than you think. I also like making my kid carry her own crap LOL! ... show more

My toddler loves her backpack. The size is a perfect fit and the leash part gives us a little bit of relaxation knowing that she can’t dart off suddenly if we’re in a busy area. In quieter areas, we leave the leash clipped on, but stow it in the mesh pocket so we can easily get it out if we need to
