Description

Compatible with all SKIL 12V tools in the PWR CORE 12™ system, the compact, lightweight PWR CORE 12™ 4.0Ah 12V USB-C Battery features two-way rapid charging via USB-C, allowing you to charge the battery or personal devices with its integrated USB-C port. Its USB-C PD 3.0 port delivers up to 12X higher power than SKIL batteries with USB-A ports to power a wide range of devices or fast charge them when you’re on-the-go. Its LED fuel gauge displays current battery charge status in 25 percent increments. When it’s time to recharge, this 4.0Ah battery will charge on any SKIL 12V charging dock as well as any household USB-C charging block.

Love these batteries. I use the usb function constantly to charge phone, ipad, charge outdoor camera right where they are mounted. They charge quickly and run long time unless using a tool that requires large amount of power.

This was mostly a gift for a friend. I use it too so i can put some of my experience into this review. For the small tools like the skillsaw and the Light stand, it does make a difference. The price is decent but a little too high for a 12v battery but i guess its because of the USB C advantage. Wish you guys can make a 6 ah. 4 ah capacity is good but in the “okay” range. Also, the charge throttle of 3 amps is sort of slow, any future ideas for a faster charger? ... show more

Very good battery, I needed it to use my jigsaw because because my 2 ah battery keeps dying too quickly. This one did a better job. Is so nice that I can also use it as a power bank to charge your phone in case of an outage.
