Compatible with all SKIL 12V tools in the PWR CORE 12™ system, the compact, lightweight PWR CORE 12™ 4.0Ah 12V USB-C Battery features two-way rapid charging via USB-C, allowing you to charge the battery or personal devices with its integrated USB-C port. Its USB-C PD 3.0 port delivers up to 12X higher power than SKIL batteries with USB-A ports to power a wide range of devices or fast charge them when you’re on-the-go. Its LED fuel gauge displays current battery charge status in 25 percent increments. When it’s time to recharge, this 4.0Ah battery will charge on any SKIL 12V charging dock as well as any household USB-C charging block.

Works great. A little more than I'd have like to have paid as I but it's the original brand, so on par for the price. I got the drill and impact drill combo and needed more batteries since the combo only came with one. Now, I can use both drills at the same time while charging an extra battery and just rotate as I need. The fact that you do not necessarily need a specialized charger and that these have USB-C ports makes it easy to forego the included charger and plug it into any charger(s) you already use at home. I love that these are USB-C charged, it can be used to power other USB devices, but mostly that they are reliable, and that this was a waaaayyyyy better price than elsewhere.

One thing that SKIL has that I like is, you can charge these batteries with a solar panel if you absolutely needed too. This is going to be my standard on any battery operated tool I get from now on.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this 4Ah battery to complement a Skil tool kit I gave my husband for Christmas. The original kit came with a 2Ah battery, and while it worked fine for quick tasks, he constantly complained that the charge ran out too quickly on longer projects. The change has been incredible! With this new 4Ah battery, the tool not only lasts twice as long, but it also feels a bit more consistent in constant use. Now he can finish his jobs without having to take mandatory breaks to recharge. What we liked most: Autonomy: Ideal for medium and large DIY projects. Compatibility: Fits perfectly in the original tool and charger. Performance: You can tell it's a quality brand and the power is consistent. Without a doubt, it was an excellent investment. If you have 2Ah tools and feel like you're falling short, this 4Ah one works great. Highly recommended! ... show more
