I am a painter that works mostly new construction and do a lot of spraying and the paint usely drys my boots out and they crack and get tore up in just a couple of months but these Skechers have lasted me for no almost 1 year so I just bought a second pair on Amazon the first pair I got from Shoe Carnival and paid $100 this pair I got on Amazon I only paid $65 so to me it was a no brainer I also am always cleaning out paint tools and my feet get wet but not with these they are waterproof I love these boots I even got my girlfriend the women's version of them and she loves them also and not to mention but they are sooooo comfortable. If you need a quality pair of boots that doesn't break the bank give them a try. I will continue to buy these for work and home. Also they do sell them in different colors so I highly recommend these boots

I have been using these boots for 3 to 4 months now and my only complaint is on one of my boots the shoelace loop things at the top broke off on the first day but it was easy to work around I just put it threw the hole

I have wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that fit so I never buy them on line anymore because it costs so much to send them back when they don't fit. Amazon has this try for free thing so I gave it a shot and these shoes fit perfect first time, at least for me. There very well made and comfortable. Best of all I didn't need to break them in.

I have other Skecher shoes which I like. These are underwhelming from a functional perspective. Good looking shoe, but IMO just lacking in hiking requirements. Sole seems OK; might take time to see how it holds up. The foot part seemed to fit OK, a bit tight, but it was really pretty painful going downhill where the toes felt like they were jammed up against concrete. I could not find a way to make the upper part tight enough to provide any ankle support, or even the illusion of ankle support.
