Used for work. I have wide feet and they are very comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but the laces are two part. An inner core covered by an outer core made to match the color of the boot. The outer core eventually gets cut on the boot lace hook.. Switched to one piece laces to see if that stops the problem. Other than that the boots are great,would recomend

Big fan of Sketchers, comfortable but not always durable (give them 2 years lifespan tops, some of the newer ones less than that) but as I get older comfort trumps dexterity. These are different, I wanted a replacement winter shoe, not a boot but a good comfortable shoe that is water proof with some thickness and warmth to it. Tried a few different versions (some with better sale prices) but settled on this version. It was guaranteed water proof (rather than water resistant) and had open loop hooks for the laces. I'm not a big fan of hooks, but to get in and out easily your really need them for the top two lace points. These also come in wide and extra wide, which makes a big difference for me. We'll see how long they last, they definitely have sturdy construction and look very sharp. Amazon had the better price point even though I had Sketcher dollars on their website.

I ordered these for removing snow from my sidewalk and driveway, and got them just in time for a storm that was approaching, we got 8" of snow the day after I got them, it was also pretty cold that day, and my feet were warm and comfortable the entire time that it took to shovel the snow. I have a wide foot, and there are not too many brands that sell wide shoes, that's why I chose this particular brand of shoe, if you plan to wear thick winter socks, I suggest buying them at least a half size larger than the size you normally wear.

Really liked the fit and feel. Unfortunately, after wearing 5 or 6 times, top eyelet pulled off. Returned them for a replacement pair, which was fast and simple. So far so good. Hopefully, just got a bad shoe. Time will tell.
