If the words "Some assembly required" fill you with fear, you may want to avoid this fencing product. I mean, it's just a fence... what could be so hard, right? Well.. On the plus size, the fence is pretty substantially made, heavy and solid with a cute design. But, the included "instructions" are pictures that can be challenging to translate into ACTIONS. Are pictures worth a thousand words? Perhaps. But in this case, I would have rather had words. I am the kind of person who prefers detailed, step-by-step instructions IN ENGLISH to diagrams. Opening up the plastic connectors was not as easy as it looked and caused me a bit of consternation. You might want to have a pair of pliers handy. Overall, if you are a visual learner and a patient person, the fence looked pretty good and was functional enough. Just isn't as easy as it should be.

It's weird how the middle and the bottom pieces separate so easily with little to no effort, which made it difficult to put in the ground, and if the bottom needed to be shifted, the middle would come completely off. Aside from how clunky that is once I finally got them all properly arranged it does what I need it to, but these could have been better designed.

I selected this fence to replace a plastic one to protect my small Heuchera garden. My landscaper agreed that ts decorative design should keep out all but the tiniest bunny. The pieces are heavy and well packaged. I love the ornate but open design which does not block the view of what is planted inside. Very simple pictorial assembly directions are included. It is important to open both plastic wrapped packages of fence sections. They have different functions. One contains the bases which require screwing in the tops of the slanted end pieces which will go into the ground. The other package contains the top sections which simply slide into the slots atop the lower sections. These should hold firmly. I found it very difficult to open the connectors sufficiently so as to connect the sides. Finally, I just connected half which will be sufficient until I locate a pliers or other tool to open up these plastic pieces. I have removed one star for this difficulty. I will add it back should I discover that my assessment was incorrect.

I had hoped that this set would fully enclose my wife's raised garden bed, but I was lazy about measuring. It won't, but that's my fault. She is still happy with it, and using it to keep the deer from eating the potatoes she's growing. It wasn't difficult to assemble, it's pretty, and the price is fair for what we received. Recommended.

This garden fence looks great. It is pretty tall at around 32 inches after being inserted into the ground. I need to keep my small dogs from going into my garden and this fence works well. Assembly is easy. Just twist the ground spikes into the bottom of the fence and push into the ground. The fence panels are held together by clips. The wind has no effect on this wired fence.

This ships disassembled in two pieces per panel and comes with some spikes that screw into the bottom of the bottom frame. (Pay attention when assembling the frames; only the bottom is threaded). Once assembled, you just put the panels into the ground (or the raised bed in my case) and and clip the panels together. Overall, it makes a nice decorative barrier though it's probably not tall enough the deter most dogs (or chickens which is more of my concern) if planted in the ground. Measure the ground you want to put a border on--this is ten feet which is just enough for my smaller raised bed but not enough for the larger ones.
