Okay to start off I don’t write reviews generally. BUT this helmet is fantastic! I’ve had 7 concussions (yes you read that number right- I played a lot of high contact sports growing up). So I take head protection in any form SUPER seriously (Take care of your head people, you only get one!) So I got this helmet in hopes to upgrade from my old beat up skateboarding helmet that has outlived its use & will now be retired. I love that this helmet comes in multiple matte colors so there is something for everyone (safety can be fun and fashionable!). Ordering and shipping was a breeze & it came quickly, despite the pandemic shipping issues I have had in other orders. When I received it, it was well packaged in a protective cardboard box and wrapped in plastic to make sure it was clean and not damaged in the mail. Upon opening, I was super excited to see that it actually matched the pictures and the color was a perfect match! It’s very lightweight while still feeling like it’s extremely sturdy and would protect me in case of an accident. The helmet shell itself is a hard plastic that has vents in the front,back and top that allow breathability while not compromising protection. I live in the desert so that’s good news for really hot days. The shell also has a small visor like lip which I liked as well. I feel like if you fall forward it would give you an extra little bit of protection for your face, and perhaps block the sun a little. The inner portion of the helmet is my favorite part! The foam casing inside the shell is nice and thick to help with any blows to the head and would definitely help impacts even if the outer shell shattered or cracked. And it’s an even thickness on all sides unlike some helmets I’ve had in the past. Inside of that is a fantastic pattern of smooth fabric padding that is replaceable & uses a Velcro system. (They give you a second FULL SET of inner foam padding incase you need it, no extra fees!). The helmet is fully adjustable which I LOVE! There is nothing worse than seeing someone with an ill fitted helmet. (Does basically nothing to protect you!). So on the back, bottom half of the inside portion of the helmet there is an adjustment system that allows you to use the soft touch rubber knob to make the helmet fit your head exactly. And for anyone who is worried about having long hair and using this and having it get caught up in it, have no fear I have long thick curly hair and I tested it out in multiple hairstyles and you should be comfortable and all set. And it’s well hidden under the shell of the helmet for the most part so you don’t even see it really unless you’re really looking for it. The straps are another awesome feature that I love. They have good thick soft touch nylon straps that are also adjustable and it comes with a soft fabric strap cover that has Velcro to cover the excess once it’s adjusted for you which also helps with that annoying rubbing and fraying that happens oftentimes with helmet straps over time.(No more weird red lines on your face and neck!) The straps also have a side plastic part where you can adjust the placement of the straps around your ears so you are actually comfortable, and if you have earrings in or your hair down you can avoid them getting snagged as well. The buckle is great strong quality plastic and is actually red which is amazing in case of an emergency so you or someone else can can do a quick release if needed without fumbling looking for it because it blends into the rest of the helmet like most helmets I have seen. The other side of the buckle is black so it still matches nicely so no crazy contrasting colors. They also give you a full size drawstring bag to carry and store the helmet but it has ample room where you could put a water bottle and some pads as well (not sure about a full set but it’s worth a try). Which as a roller skater this is super handy to carry shoes and keys and anything else you need while skating around hands free. Overall I love this helmet and will be recommending this for everyone I know. I even got compliments on it while I was testing it out from some derby girls I know and some other casual skaters while I was out. It also has the bonus of being an almost perfect match for my new skate set up which I love. (Being safe is cute!) It also has a smooth surface as well which is perfect for all my sticker lovers out there & derby folks who want/need to label their gear. If you want a safe reliable helmet this is the one you want to get. Have fun & be safe y’all!

This helmet works great for my daughter. She says it is very comfortable and light weight. She loves the padding on the strap under the chin. It fits her very well and is adjustable. It came with another set of interior padding which I appreciated. Seems sturdy and well made. It was easy to adjust for size with a turn knob and easy to adjust the straps to fit correctly. The pink color is very pretty in person. Would purchase again.

We love this helmet! It fits great and is comfortable, plus it looks cool. But after a year, the red clip on the adjustable side fell off and got lost. Now we need a replacement and I’ve tried contacting the seller twice to see if we could buy one, but they don’t respond. We tried ordering new clips, but the side that it clips into can’t be taken off because the straps are secured to the helmet with rivets. So we basically have a perfectly good but useless helmet. Such a bummer.

I have a pretty big head, so I was pretty excited just to have a helmet fit! I got a large and I only need to dial it in a tiny bit. Being able ti fine tune the fit is a really nice feature. It's also fairly light: Most helmets I've tried that fit me are similar to skating with a cinderblock on your head. I wore this for about 20 minutes the night I got it, and my neck never got weird. Most of all, it's sturdy as can be. Without explaining our methodology, I took some hits. It stands up pretty high on my head, but it is snug inside. What matters here is safety first. I am almost 50 and I skate with my 11 year old daughter. I got knocked out about a year ago in a fall, and I will never skate without a helmet on again. I have a lot of confidence in this one!

Overall, this helmet is comfortable and well-made with thoughtful “extras”. My head measured right at 21 inches and was on the fence between M and S. I am glad I ordered the small as I think the medium would have been too big. The color is a very pretty matte sky color. I have the dial on the biggest setting but would be good if you were in between sizes to get the right fit. It also comes with extra pads to help with sizing (and is great for swapping them out for washing). Even the chin strap pad can be removed for washing. To top it off, it included a carrying bag!

The media could not be loaded. Just got this helmet in medium. If youre looking for a new helmet for roller skating this I highly recommend. Its adjustable, stays in place, i like the part on the straps to protect your chin not sure what its called and yes it has sweat saver too and comes with some extra. Its very light weight. I dont see any issues on this apart from my hair being tied on low and still in the way from where the adjustable knob is but overall this is a great helmet.

This helmet is lightweight and comfortable. However, the shell is huge. I ordered a medium. When I measured my head I was at the crossover point between a small and medium at 55cm. With the adjustable knob the helmet strap tightens enough to hold it snug. This leaves a gap between the strap that goes around the crown and foam allowing the helmet to move around. I will be returning the helmet because of this. I think if you are on the larger end of a size small and the smaller end of a size medium it is better to get a size medium so the helmet doesn’t float around. The quality seems good. The adjustment dial in the back moves smoothly. It comes with an extra set of pads and a storage bag. The stickers on the inside were placed on backwards with an arrow marking the back of the helmet as the front but this really isn’t a big deal. This helmet is comfortable but I find that the outer shell is huge and bulky. I’m not sure if the size small uses the same shell with thicker foam or a smaller shell. As a result of this, I will not be reordering a replacement. The helmet looks way to big.
