I just received my Skagen watch..I love it! I hesitated to buy it, but having read tons of reviews and considering the discounted price; I thought it is worth to try. It looks very stylish..Ideal size for a middle-aged woman. (I am 36) . I can wear this watch at any occasion. Very elegant..It is not too showy, either..It is a great buy for this price but regardless of the price, I love the watch itself. I think it looks like a $300-$400 watch. I know a couple, they both own Skagen watches and they highly recommended me to get one. They told me they`ve had it for years and experienced no problems at all. I am sure I will have no problems either, but if I do, I will update this review. I think the adjustable strap is a great advantage, my wrist is a little skinny. After adjustment, it fits my wrist perfect. I like the steel background and the mirror strip on the side. This mirror strip makes the watch look shiny. The metal strap is also very unique and elegant. I was undecided between getting a Swatch metal knit watch and this Skagen watch. When comparing these two, I think it was a better choice to get Skagen for a professional woman around my age. I still consider getting a Swatch later on, but another model for very casual occasions (just because I always wanted to have a Swatch :)) . This Skagen is suitable for any occasion. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and consider getting one more as a gift for a close friend of mine. If you are considering to get one, get it..You will not be disappointed. In my opinion, even if I have any issues after a year of daily use, I would not make it a big issue considering the price I paid for it.. ... show more

Beautiful watch, thin face so not “chunky” for women with small wrists! Heads up though…. I bought two, one for a gift, and one for myself - different face rim colors. Ironically, the one I bought as a GIFT, came in a cheap plastic bag covering, and the band was broken :( The one I bought for myself was in a nice box and the band was fine! (These watches are identical except the rim of the face color!). I was extremely disappointed in the quality and presentation of the gift watch, and had that been the only I ordered, I would have thought Skagen’s quality had really taken a dive… and I would’ve sent it back! Seeing the other watch, in perfect condition, I figure the other was just defective and quickly swapped out the bands and put the gift watch in the box to be able to give tomorrow. And I will contact the company for a replacement band . Still… Skagen watches are beautiful, and they hold up! Highly recommend! ... show more

This watch is beautiful and I enjoyed wearing it casually for approximately 2 months until the crown/pusher piece fell off. No bumps or trauma, just looked down one day because it felt rough on my wrist and that piece was gone. Much to my surprise, this part is not covered under warranty! I can’t adjust the time after DLS and the watch is no longer comfortable to wear. $100+ down the drain. ... show more
