This watch worked great until I had to get the battery replaced. Apparently, you need a proprietary Skagen tool to fit the backing on the casing. I went to 5 jewelers/watch repairs to have someone close the casing after replacing the battery, and no one is able to do it. My only option is to pay Skagen (which is 3x the price I would pay for a battery replacement at a local shop) and wait 2-4 weeks for them to fix it and mail it back to me. If you purchase this watch, expect to have to pay Skagen to repair it for the rest of your life or plan to just replace the whole thing when the battery dies. ... show more

I just received this watch and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The band was easy to adjust and clasp on. I love how it looks, very elegant. I like how flat it is too, doesn't seem like it will get in the way. **update- I have had this watch for about a month now. I am still very satisfied. It does not get in the way at all. Also forgot to mention that I have small wrists and usually have trouble finding a small enough band, or one that adjusts without taking it to a jeweler. the Skagen band is perfect for anyone who is a difficult fit, simply adjust the clasp, and any excess band is strapped out of the way. The watch is very pretty. I got it to replace a Skagen that I really liked that was smaller but similar watch I had lost. I like the larger, modern face. The crystal markers are so small I can hardly see them. It is very easy to adjust the mesh band. It's my everyday watch since it's dual tone and clean design make it go with everything. I LOVE this watch. Other reviewers said it was too dark but it isn't, it looks just like the video/photos. When the light catches it the blue comes through brilliantly. It's thin and lightweight so it's super comfortable. It's simple enough to wear everyday but sophisticated enough that it could be paired with an evening gown and not look out of place. I love the look of the watch and the fact that it's easy to ready but not too big and not heavy. My only issue is the clasp. I adjusted the length of the strap which was great, but since then it doesn't seem as if it really "clicks" closed and I worry that I will lose it. It did fall off once.
