A beautiful watch, light weight, sleek and snug. With the bright silver color, stainless steel band and pearlescent face she's a beauty for casual dress or formal. I had shopped in-store and on-line for a three-handed watch that I could clearly see. A second hand comes in handy. Seems simple but took me months and a lot of time to find this baby. I've had this Skagen Anita for about two months and love the quality, workmanship, craftsmanship and durability. After reading other reviews of the band not staying latched, I read the instructions enclosed in the box about adjusting the length. Does anyone read any more? It is plain and simple to fasten it securely every time. There's also a YouTube video on adjusting the band. So easy to do and I have never had the coupling come loose. It definitely is different than any other type of band, just follow the instructions. Instructions also note that this watch is tested for depths of water 20 to 50 feet and states 'do not wear it bathing'. This watch goes to the pool with me while I swim and into the shower daily. I never need to take it off except for cleaning. My other gold Skagen watch is still perfect after five years with the same treatment. It is a great, comfortable, yet elegant watch. It does take time to get used to reading time if your previous watch had only numbers and no dots, and is a little smaller than it appears. Overall, I am really enjoying this watch

Two toned silver and gold allows me to wear this watch with any jewelry. The face dial is simple but elegant. The profile is slim and it’s a very comfortable. My one complaint is the clasp. My last Skagen stainless steel mesh watch was purchased 2001 and lasted 18 years (lifetime warranty). I loved it as it was actually waterproof and I wore it swimming etc. all those years. It is no longer being manufactured. This one is sadly only water resistant (meaning don't wear it in the shower either). But it is a beauty and I get compliments on it all the time. I will try to remember to post in one year with an update on it's longevity. UPDATE 12/14/2021 Yesterday I saw the mesh band had a tiny link in it on the edge that had separated, and stands apart and is snagging (see photos)fabric. WOW! It didn't even last a year before starting to fall apart! It appears they do not warranty the bands at all! As I previously stated, I had a Skagen mesh watch purchased in 2001 and the band NEVER had a problem for 18 years and I wore it almost every single day! I am so disappointed over this! ... show more

It was difficult to read the time on this watch because the glass was so reflective and the second hand and other hands so close in size to each other. That was bad enough, but then the band fell off of one side of the clock face, rendering the whole thing unusable. I love the brand in general, but this watch was a disaster! ... show more
