No 11mm 3/8drive shallow socket
Nice set, but S&K sent (2) 10mm 3/8 drive shallow sockets. Where one should be 11mm 3/8 drive shallow socket (bad quality control). Waiting for S&K to fix issue. Mistakes happen and if supplier sends new 11mm . I will give better review. ☆☆☆☆☆Update I originally did 3 stars, but Holly at S&K sent the missing 11mm. Hey mistakes happen and they made it good. Tried and true
You could say I’m just a wee bit of a tool guy given my hobby and profession. SK has been a go to for me for several years. Shame that some of the more basic stuff is made in China, but true to themselves SK still offers all of their USA stuff on their website. That’s not the point here. The point here is I wanted a kit to leave in the vehicles for road trips, and often I find myself assisting friends in their projects. Rather than rounding up my stuff into a pack out every time, this is a convenient alternative. It’s also great for trips to the u pull it junkyards. China or not, the quality is still evident here. Ratchets feel amazing and have excellent gear sets, sockets don’t round fasteners and the Super Krome still looks and functions like it always has. Bar none this is the best kit for the money out there. If you using your tools and have a higher than novice experience level - this is the kit for you!

Impressive mobile/beginner set
Great toolset, I use it 3x a week at least Great beginners set or mobile set with enough basics to get most jobs done. These have tolerated a fair bit of reasonable abuse in the last year, SK has impressed

Cheap set, just pass on them. They look better in the photos than in person.
These are not a good buy if you want a quality set. The ratchets are huge and extremely heavy like a cheap 3rd world set. They are even twice the size of the cheap Duratech ratchets and they are no where near as smooth as Duratech ratchets. They are not even in the same league as Milwaukee, Gearwrench, Icon or Titan. These ratchets are the worse I have ever seen. I do like the case the sockets came in and think it is solidly built and it is better than most other portable cases I have found. I also found a few sockets with rust in them. I would pass on these. I am returning my set even though I bought it at 20% discount for $159. It’s pushing it saying this complete set might and I mean just might be worth $59. Poor quality set.

Well organized and tools don’t move inside the caseEasily
For off-road I was looking for a set that stayed organized and was durable. Bingo! All on point here. I still have a smaller set I bought 40 years ago. Those still work well, I disassembled my first engine A V-8 Chevy with a 3/8” ratchet with it. I removed the large head bolts and main caps using a 2’ pipe over the ratchet handle. It should have been damaged but still working well still after 40 years. Good reason to get another set from them again!

Complete set reasonably priced
A complete set with everything you would need. Came in a tool bos that will not let sockets fly around and where you can actually carry by the handle

Chinese quality. But good.
SK are great tools. However since they went to China instead of being made in the USA the quality has went downhill.
