You could say I’m just a wee bit of a tool guy given my hobby and profession. SK has been a go to for me for several years. Shame that some of the more basic stuff is made in China, but true to themselves SK still offers all of their USA stuff on their website. That’s not the point here. The point here is I wanted a kit to leave in the vehicles for road trips, and often I find myself assisting friends in their projects. Rather than rounding up my stuff into a pack out every time, this is a convenient alternative. It’s also great for trips to the u pull it junkyards. China or not, the quality is still evident here. Ratchets feel amazing and have excellent gear sets, sockets don’t round fasteners and the Super Krome still looks and functions like it always has. Bar none this is the best kit for the money out there. If you using your tools and have a higher than novice experience level - this is the kit for you!

These are not a good buy if you want a quality set. The ratchets are huge and extremely heavy like a cheap 3rd world set. They are even twice the size of the cheap Duratech ratchets and they are no where near as smooth as Duratech ratchets. They are not even in the same league as Milwaukee, Gearwrench, Icon or Titan. These ratchets are the worse I have ever seen. I do like the case the sockets came in and think it is solidly built and it is better than most other portable cases I have found. I also found a few sockets with rust in them. I would pass on these. I am returning my set even though I bought it at 20% discount for $159. It’s pushing it saying this complete set might and I mean just might be worth $59. Poor quality set.

This is a great set, but there should be longer extensions. I had to buy a $56 dollar ‘extension set’ from SK to round out the kit. Kinda bummed about that for the $$$ paid.
