You could say I’m just a wee bit of a tool guy given my hobby and profession. SK has been a go to for me for several years. Shame that some of the more basic stuff is made in China, but true to themselves SK still offers all of their USA stuff on their website. That’s not the point here. The point here is I wanted a kit to leave in the vehicles for road trips, and often I find myself assisting friends in their projects. Rather than rounding up my stuff into a pack out every time, this is a convenient alternative. It’s also great for trips to the u pull it junkyards. China or not, the quality is still evident here. Ratchets feel amazing and have excellent gear sets, sockets don’t round fasteners and the Super Krome still looks and functions like it always has. Bar none this is the best kit for the money out there. If you using your tools and have a higher than novice experience level - this is the kit for you!

Not a single sk tool in the case had cheap ones some hart sockets cobalt screwdriver handle but nothing by sk in the box

Initial quality seems to be excellent, and just what I would expect from SK Tools. -1 star for site of fabrication: although SK Tools, an historically American company had been purchased by Chinese company Hangzhou Great Star Industrial, it had been my understanding that the company continued to produce the tools in a US factory. When I received the package, it had clearly been shipped from China; these are Chinese-fabricated tools.
