Description

The plastic lunch box features multiple compartments that make it simple to keep your food fresh and separate until you're ready to eat. There is a removable tray that is large enough to hold a sandwich, two hinged flip-top compartments ideal for sides like fruits and cheese, and a screw-top pot great for yogurt, pudding, salad dressing, sauce, and more. A lid with easy-locking clips and an extended flexible seal fits tightly over the bento lunch box to help keep items fresh. Made from 100% virgin plastic, this BPA- and phthalate-free bento box is dishwasher-safe when placed on the top rack, microwave-safe without the lids, and safe for storing in fridges and freezers.

I have been using mine for approximately 1 month. I open it 2-4 times a day. I am pretty sure the close tab is going to be the first thing to go; it just doesn’t seem to match the quality of the rest of the box. And it is easy to only half-snap, making it less secure. The little cup is fine. It should stand up for a gazillion uses. My largest issues with this are 1) that the box is difficult to line up on one side, so I have to sort of push it forward on that side to make the top fit around the bottom. 2) the middle stacked tray often tips, and the divider for the two small compartments is detachable (you can’t NOT detach it) so those compartments are not at all secure. If the box gets tipped or turned upside down (one of the supposed benefits, that it won’t leak if that happens), the divider does NOT stay in place every time.

Originally, the one I ordered I received it broken. It seemed as though it was broken during shipping because the broken piece was inside. I contacted Amazon and wished to return it and the seller offered to replace it at no charge and I didn't even have to return the broken one. Normally, I would be skeptical. I would think that it didn't make it the first time... But the second one just arrived and it really only took a day and a half. They came through and I appreciate that it wasn't going to be a hassle. The new one is in perfect condition and I can't wait to use it. Will probably re-review after I have used it a few times. BTW the broken one was pink and the replacement was blue. I like the colors and I think it's cool that it is transparent. These are probably made for kids, but it fits right in my lunch container for work.

I LOVE these. Only giving 4 stars because you can't pick the color you want and I ended up with an unattractive pink/purple combo. However, I've used Sistema containers for several years and these are absolutely perfect for separating things (for me, it's raw veggies, hummus cups, fruit, and yogurt. Even with all of that, you could put a sandwich in the top left tray!) It's really fantastic and perfect for my needs. The yogurt cup is actually spill-proof, which is great (my older Sistema containers aren't spill proof anymore, and they've recently leaked yogurt into my lunchbag). The lid has a hinged back and front latch which ensures it'll last a very long time. Just wish we could pick the color we want.

I love that it has a hinged top and easy to lock/unlock clip. No parts for my kindergartener to lose! It is bigger than I thought and holds a lot of food. I’d like the same thing in a little smaller size because he doesn’t usually have that much food and it takes up his entire lunchbox. But I love the quality and we have some other sistema products that have held up well and we use frequently. This is not a “leakproof box” and I don’t expect it to be. If I put something that may leak in his lunch, I use the little cup with screw on lid that fits perfectly in the box. And the price was great compared to other bento style lunchboxes. Very happy with my purchase. My son also likes the colors.

We LOVE these bento boxes for school lunches. They are just great for holding all the things. We needed ONE more for my son so I ordered 1, hoping for blue or green, when they came in stock. It was purple. I sent it back and ordered another 1. Got sent purple again. Third time is a charm. I ordered 2 boxes hoping to get sent two different colors and received a blue and a pink! My son jumped for joy for blue. We can send the one more pink back thanks to Amazon’s easy return system. 👍🏻 Order at least 2 if you are looking for a boy color. Hope you get what you need.

I really like this box. I bought it for my 10 year old. He's going into Middle School next year, so I wanted a box that could hold more food. This can hold a sandwich on top, a juice box (or salad) underneath, the container it comes with holds wet foods like fruit, or yogurt, then the side compartments hold drier foods like raw veggies, and a treat. I've been using it for a couple of months now to try it out, and it's held up nicely. The front snap is sometimes hard to snap together, but otherwise I don't have an issue. I usually hand wash it, even though it's dishwasher safe.

Nice large bento box with lots of cubbies for different foods. Not leak proof so don’t add anything wet in the open spaces. Use the little container and that is leak proof. All the separations in the box make it a bit harder to clean by hand but I love it bc it allows a lot of variety of foods to be separated.

I have 2 sons and a husband that take lunch. I bought this for one of them to use and it came in pink. I wanted any color but pink and there is no way to specify. I and very disappointed that there is no way to request a color at least to say what color you dont want. I work from home and will not need this. I will most likely return
