My use: Iced tea from powdered Crystal Light peach flavor powder mix. My older Sistema is used for ice coffee. I brew my own coffee, let it cool, and then fill the jug for the fridge. Fantastic jug. 1. The rectangular shape maximizes use of space in the fridge. 2. The side clips and closable spout make it incredibly leak proof if you drop it on the floor. 3. So easy to clean. Caveat: Price... Due to its travel from overseas, it is expensive. I have an older (4 yrs. old) Sistema jug that was cheaper as it was bought locally. Love it! Fits perfect in refrigerator door. Previous reviews complained of lid leaking and spout growing mold. I have not had this issue. The tab that opens the pour spout comes apart for thorough cleaning. I’ve had the smaller version of this one for years. It is like new. I love my Sistema pitchers. I just wish that they were 2 quarts instead of 2 liters. Other than that they are great in the refrigerator for saving space, especially in the RV fridge. Easy to use and dishwasher safe.

I had the older version of this pitcher and the twist top pouring feature was always difficult to turn to open or close. This flip top version is so much better. I also like that Sistema products are free from harmful chemicals.
