The first thing I noticed about this king size Hotel Grand comforter was the Quality Weight & Feel. The combination of the 100 percent cotton cover and goose feather and down fiber filling gives it a soft, luxury like feel without making it excessively heavy. The Comfort is excellent, the warmth is intoxicating, and the breathable material makes it versatile enough for all season use. It really Stands out when the bed is made because it creates that full, inviting hotel bedding appearance. The intelligence of the design also deserves credit. Eight attachment points, including corner loops and side tabs, help keep the insert positioned correctly inside a duvet cover instead of allowing everything to shift around overnight. The Durable Design, self piping construction, and Solid Material feel show that the detail was on point. The functionality is simple but extremely effective, especially for anyone who regularly uses a duvet cover. I got this for creating a more comfortable hotel style bed at home without giving up practical everyday bedding. The packaging kept the comforter neatly contained, and after giving it time to expand, it developed a comfortable fullness. It is Flexible for Every Scenario whether I want a lighter sleeping environment or additional bedding during cooler nights, and the overall quality makes it excellent Value for the money. 😂 The only unexpected problem is that my bed now looks so inviting that getting up in the morning has become a negotiation. Apparently upgrading the Comfort also upgraded my ability to invent reasons why five more minutes of sleep is completely reasonable.

We are so happy with our Hotel Grand All-Season goose down comforter! We've purchased a number of products from Hotel Grand over the years and have always been pleased with the quality and workmanship of their products. This duvet is no exception. Following the directions and putting it in the dryer (on low) helped to fluff it right up! It helps to put a tennis ball or two in the dryer to redistribute the down feathers and fluff it up quickly. It comes out nice and full, all flatness gone from having been vaccum sealed. I appreciate that the comforter comes with 8 loops for tying to a duvet cover. They work well to keep it from shifting in any direction while in use. The fabric shell of the comforter is very smooth. It would look suitable on it's own without a duvet cover, but we always use a cover with ours to make washing easier (especially since dry cleaning is recommended for this comforter.) We find the All Season down comforter to be the ideal weight for our comfort. It has some weight to it, which we like, but is not too hot. We sleep comfortably with just a sheet and this comforter (which is in a thin duvet cover,) even in the summer months. We highly recommend Hotel Grand as the brand for your next duvet. They sell quality products that are well designed and built to last. We find them a good value for the price. We are always happy with their products.

Lets start with the bad stuff for what would have been a 5 star comforter. Firstly it comes vac packed which destroys the down itself. There is no way to re fluff it correctly once down gets crushed. Try as you might each compartment now mostly has a lump of crushed feathers that are stuck together so only a partial fill in each cavity (lots of void space) secondly what ever fabric treatment they used it horrendous. Makes the cotton itself feel like a rough waterproof plastic sheet and it is noisy as get all. Actually squeaks and crinkles like a dog toy even after 3 weeks of use. It has not softened up or quieted down at all. As for the pros it is a very comfortable weight and it has improved my sleep overall - it is still soft (altho crinkly sounding) and fits perfectly inside a duvet cover (you will want a cover the comforter fabric as I mentioned is horrible feeling - still makes noise inside the cover but at least the cover is softer) For the price it is still a good value for an real down comforter I just wish they did not use what ever fabric conditioner for transport they decided on (and they should have avoided the super sucking vacuum packing). Even with the flaws it is still better than most other lower priced down comforters I have tried (and returned) so it is still above an average quality comforter for this price range and I still continue to use it nightly even on hot summer nights is is still "just right".

I’ve been using this comforter regularly on my king-size bed, and the first thing I noticed was the combination of loft and moderate warmth. The comforter has enough fill to feel substantial without becoming excessively heavy, which worked well for me during nights when I wanted warmth without the feeling of being weighed down. The 100% cotton cover has a soft, comfortable feel and doesn’t have the slick sensation that some synthetic bedding can have. I also found the construction reasonably quiet when moving around during the night, which I prefer for bedding that I’m using every day. The filling has stayed reasonably well distributed during my use rather than immediately collecting in a few areas. That matters with a comforter because uneven filling can create noticeably warmer and cooler sections. The overall loft also gives the bedding a fuller appearance without making it difficult to arrange. The 106 × 90-inch size provides good coverage on my king-size bed. The eight corner loops are another practical feature because they give a duvet cover more attachment points and help keep the insert from shifting independently of the cover. The medium-warmth rating seems appropriate for someone looking for a comforter that can work across a range of indoor temperatures rather than an extremely lightweight summer blanket or a very heavy winter comforter. Actual warmth will naturally depend on the room temperature and individual preference, so I wouldn’t treat the “all season” description as meaning it will feel the same to everyone.

All we use are medium weight, 100% cotton down comforters on our king bed. We needed an upgrade so I went on the hunt. I found this one that checked all the boxes and was a reasonable price. We Love this because its cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We've tried other body heat adjustable products with no success. We've tried down alternative comforters and went back to real down feathers immediately. The packaging was great. Quick delivery. I checked the measurements before ordering and saw that the size was going work better than expected. Some king comforters end up short on some of the sides. Definitely not this one. The sides and end hung past the top mattress and there was enough length at the top to fold down by our pillows. Using this comforter without a duvet cover was fine and the white made our room look bright and clean. I'm also able to switch up accent pillows for different seasons instead of switching the entire bedding set. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this comforter either on its own or as a duvet insert. If you use it as a duvet insert just be sure to check the measurements.

This 100% cotton, white goose feather comforter can be used alone or as a duvet cover insert. It arrives vacuum packed, but fluffs out to its full size and softness after only a few minutes in the clothes dryer on low heat. Until the winter months, I've decided to use it as a top comforter. The color of this comforter is a pleasing, neutral white, which, when used as a top comforter, will brighten any bedroom. However, I believe it would work best inside a duvet cover, as the surface of this comforter, even after time in the dryer, seems prone to wrinkles. The wrinkles may smooth out during washing, but I have yet to test that theory. Also, dry cleaning is suggested, which is another reason to use this comforter as an insert, rather than as a stand-alone comforter. As far as quality is concerned, this comforter scores high marks. This is the 'All-Season' variant of the comforter, which is luxuriously warm and cozy, yet not overly bulky or pillowy. It is very well-designed, stitched, and sized to fit inside a queen-size duvet cover. Overall, this comforter is a fine quality item, well worth the investment. Wrinkles aside, I am extremely pleased with it.

While this manufacturer technically includes the word "fiber" in the description—and therefore isn't legally misrepresenting their product—buyers must understand the massive disparity in quality and functionality between a comforter filled with actual goose feathers and down, versus one made entirely from goose feather FIBER and goose down FIBER. Calling this a "luxury" product is objectively misleading. Don't let the American Down & Feather Council (ADFC) certification fool you into thinking this is a premium item. That certification simply means the manufacturer is accurately reporting the content percentages on the tag. The truth behind those percentages is that this comforter contains 0% whole goose feathers and 0% whole goose down. Instead, it consists of 90% goose feather fiber and 10% goose down fiber. What exactly is this fiber? It turns out it's the manufacturing waste, scraps, and dust left over from the production of genuine, premium down products—essentially swept from the factory floor and cleaned to meet basic standards. These broken fibers give you none of the physical structure of a goose feather, and absolutely none of the three-dimensional, air-trapping loft of a real down cluster. Do not mistake the heavy weight of this duvet for warmth. Because these fibers are broken and flat, they pack together densely. It is heavy, but it completely lacks the lightweight, self-regulating warmth that natural down is famous for. Furthermore, there is virtually no functional difference between feather fiber and down fiber once they are broken. However, because whole down is scarcer and costlier than feathers, the manufacturer included the absolute bare minimum of down fiber (10%) required to legally slap the word "DOWN" into the product title. This isn't just manufacturing waste; it is budget waste designed to exploit consumer psychology. Are there any pros? Sure, the 100% cotton cover is nice. Also, because the filling comes from natural sources, it is biodegradable and won't sit in a landfill forever when you eventually throw it out—which will likely be *much* sooner than you'd expect, given how poorly these loose fibers hold up over time. Functionally, you would be vastly better off buying a standard synthetic polyester fiberfill (polyfill) comforter. At this price point, a quality down-alternative polyfill will give you far better warmth, structure, washability, and longevity than this processed factory scrap. If you want a genuine, natural down comforter, you need to be prepared to pay a much higher price — don't be fooled into thinking this is a worthwhile alternative. Save your money (or invest it in something of lasting quality).
