Were having extra guests & first set up an airbed which was terrible and awful, would not want to sleep on that and then also memories of bad futons, lumpy and uncomfortable and no "give". This is like a bed and might even use when I move instead of getting a regular mattress. Personally I don't like memory foam, to squishy & get "trapped" when trying to move over. I like this is firm and thick. Not cheapo foam that has no resistance and you hit the floor. Try to get the covers on before they fully expand. Mind did not come with a cover so bought one seperately for storage & transportation. Kind of a velourish cover, but I covered & tucked under with sheets. None standard sizes & thickness, so not sure where to get snug fitting elastic sheets. (Cat & dog approved as well & they both tried out!) ... show more

The price tag of buying two stung a little, but these have been a great investment for slumber parties and out of town guests. Our adults have not tried sleeping on these mats yet, but both children and teenagers have complimented how comfortable they are. One teen claimed it was better than her bed at home. I don’t believe her, but it was said nonetheless. They simply unfold, much easier than a blow up mattress. Storage is tidy. We did have a bed wetting accident on one. Even with a boho styled bedroom she would still roll around and with this at the foot of her bed any concern was immediately taken away. I also sleep on it when she’s falling asleep and for the most even my husband uses it when his lower back hurts too much. Lays on it flat and it helps his back out. Not the mattress company fault,I suppose. I waited for pime day to order. I ordered the cot size 4" x 31" x 75" for car camping as I wanted extra padding of 4". I received the single 3" x 25" x 75". 3" thick, I can just about feel the floor, never mind trying it in the car with the lumps and bumps of the seat flod and the cars rear cargo cover. On the plus side- it did not smell upon opening. The overall quality is good. On top of a mattress I guess it would be fine,or if you are a smaller person on the floor would work. I'll have to return it ... show more
