When I needed a new mattress protector, I was just looking for something reasonably priced that added another layer of protection between the mattress and the sheets. I wasn't looking for one that was waterproof specifically, it was just kind of an added bonus. Now I'm so glad I got one that's waterproof! Our dog had a little accident on our bed when we weren't looking- oops! We found the stain within 5 minutes and it went through the sheet onto the mattress protector but not to the mattress!

When I lifted the mattress pad to see how well it performed...Perfect! The underside of the mattress pad was dry and of course so was the mattress. No staining, no transfer. I definitely recommend this mattress protector. I'm only washing it now for the first time, so I don't have an accurate assessment of the durability over time, but it certainly stands up to liquid. As a side note, it is almost like a thin terry cloth cover, soft, no noise or crunching. For those that like extra padding or fluffiness in a mattress pad.

Wish I had gotten this sooner! We have a memory foam mattress. While it is very comfortable it can get very hot. So when I seen these cooling protectors I had to try it out!. It does keep it much cooler! With the weather lately that is a BIG plus!. It is soft and comfortable and doesnt slip off. It's easy to clean and protects it if something gets spilled.

Not much you can write about a mattress pad. My only concern is whether it is big enough to fit all around an oversized mattress without picking up at the corners but this one is, it easily fits around and tucks under. The grey color is a bit unusual but who really cares, a sheet is going on top of it anyways.
