These are the most wonderful scissors I have ever used. I am 71 years old and have sewing since I was 10 years old. Over the years I have purchased many different kinds of scissors but this trio is all you need. I told my future daughter-in-law I would do the alterations on her wedding dress trying to save her some money. The dress is beautiful but her breasts had to be taken in. She tried padded bras but that did not do the job. I watched a video on the internet telling you step by step how to decrease the breasts. The video was great and I did exactly what the video showed and the dress turned out just the right size. On the video the seamstress used these scissors for opening up seams, cutting the material in tight spaces and trimming excess material. They seemed to work great. I purchased the singer bundle and have been using them ever since. They are so easy cutting seams, snipping sewing machine thread and cutting out material. Believe me I wish I would have had this singer bundle long ago. As I said they are the best scissors I have ever used. ... show more
