  • Low quality wood that can split from humity changes in just a few weeks... Don't buy!
Color: Distressed Charcoal Brown
I am a cabinet maker and I attached 2 pictures of knotty pine cabinets I made to qualify me as someone that is not just complaining while knowing nothing about what they're talking about. Building hand crafted cabinets takes me a lot of time, so I ordered these coffee tables and end tables rather than spending a lot of time making them (But not I wish i would have). When I opened the box I immediately noticed the wood is very low quality, and while assembling it, you have to take special care to not damage the wood even when loosely tightening the screws. I also noticed many flaws (see pictures). They list DISTRESSED rustic finish, but distressed means RANDOM nicks or scratched. The only distressed damage I saw were symmetrical lines cut into the top of the table (about 10 of them.... all lines up evenly and in the same position symmetrically .... This means it's manufacturing flaw from wood handing while building it... or just plain a horrible design. Other flaws were some strange staining on the top of the table surface. It will not come off without damaging the finish. Other flaws were NOT ROUTING to smooth out the top table edges. This makes it look cheap, plus almost hurts your hands when you move the table to clean, etc. Then the edge of the table top CROSSCUTS as shown in the pic.... They have the saw marks for a distressed look i guess... BUT NO NOWHERE ELSE? Make no sense. Either have a distressed look, or not... but not just one place. Ok, so knowing this was basically crap, I figured rather than spend days designing and building a table and 2 end tables, I would just live with the flaws, so I put it together and didn't return it. BUT.... Please look at the pictures with the SPLIT running down the table almost half way through the unit. This was not there when I assembled it. The table was NEVER MOVED since assembled. In just a few weeks, this think SPLIT on where you can really notice is. My theory is that the wood was damaged from the factory... but barely split to where it was not visible. And because of humidity changes, the wood split. Colorado is very dry. In any case, when you build cabinets or any furniture with CHEAP wood, this can happen. You can avoid humidity warping and splits on soft or hard wood by laminating pieces together with wood clue. (see the pics on my cabinets). I built those 25 years ago, and NO splits of any of them and I used soft knotty pine. You can see the pieces clued together on the cabinets faces. This makes it look nice. So, I have to live with something that now looks like I bought it at a flea marker for $5. I regret not returning it when I saw the other flaws.... but the SPLIT on top of the table makes it too ugly to use in my opinion. Maybe I could build my own top for it, but then I might as well just build a complete table. Another note: I have bought some furniture from Amazon, that I LOVE. I different manufacturer though. This is cheap crap, don't buy it if you want good furniture. I RARELY take time to write a review and especially this long. I am busy and don't have time to be a complainer on Amazon, but I needed to tell potential customers. Amazon is a great company (hate their politics), but the take care of me and I buy a lot through them. I haven't asked Amazon to do anything, but I will let them know about this issue. I will write an update after the manufacturer and Amazon take a look at these pictures. ... show more

  • Not a solid wood table! It’s covered in horrible laminate! fake wood.
Color: Distressed Charcoal Brown
I’ve never been so disappointed in an order. Ever. This table looked beautiful online, everything I’d been looking for. I ordered it, my husband put it together. When I saw the finished table assembled, I was shocked. The ad claimed beautiful solid acacia wood. The pics were great. It is NOT just a solid wood table. It is covered with a laminate that resembles fake wood flooring. The grooves in this laminate should not be on a table top. The sad thing is my husband already assembled it so I can’t return it. I am stuck with this awful ridged faux wood covered table. If I move anything on the table, such as an ipad, a remote, the ridges make an unacceptable noise like nails across a wash board. Almost $400. For something that looks extremely cheap, fake and like I purchased it at a drug store. It doesn’t shine like a table of wood. Light shinning on it causes a sheen, not a nice glow on supposedly beautiful solid wood. It’s got weird dark spots on it that look fake. I’ve included pictures. I will never again put anything together with out looking at it, that’s my fault. I still need a real coffee table. I really feel I’ve been had. How anyone gives this table a good rating is beyond me. Packed well, wood split on some screws, heavy like wood. Not hard to put together. Just not what it says it is. ... show more

  • Nice table - Drawers can be difficult to assemble
Color: Rustic Natural Aged Brown
Like: 1. The packaging and organization of all parts and hardware is excellent. 2. The table is easy to assemble. 3. The resulting product is a quality coffee table. Strong and attractive. Dislike: 1. The bottoms of each drawer are bowed slightly and difficult to align with front, back and sides. 2. Expect to spend more time building each drawer than building the actual table itself. Overall: Like it enough that I ordered another one so likes outweigh the dislikes. ... show more

  • Damaged
The top had a huge chunk out of it, one of the drawers had two walls for the same side and one of the dowel rods was broken. Called manufacturer for replacement parts and was told they no longer carry this model.

  • Good Table -a bit overpriced
Color: Rustic Natural Aged Brown
Looks good Wood composite Rough top finish Drawers work very well Easy to put together A little high priced compared to 100% wood tables I’ve seen -we bought this one over the others because it was the size/shape we needed

  • Received Damaged and Concerned about long term use
The table looks nice online but many of the parts received had deep groves from the factory and we even had a huge missing piece of wood from one of the sides. We contacted the manufacturer and don't have an estimated time of delivery for the replacement parts. Spending $400 on amazon I'd recommend looking at a different store where you can guarantee quality. The top of the table looks prone to scratches as well and wish we saw it in a store before the purchase. ... show more

  • It's beautiful, but extremely difficult to put together
Color: Distressed Charcoal Brown
It's beautiful, but extremely difficult to put together. And if you aren't careful, the dowels will bust through the top of the table. Unfortunately, I waited too long to put it together and the return window has closed. ***Edited to add- I went ahead and contacted Amazon, and they are sending me another one!!*** A++++ customer service! ... show more

  • It’s Ok.
Color: Distressed Charcoal Brown
Putting it together, you can see how poorly it’s made. The hardware had to be manipulated bc it kept breaking and they know it will bc they give you extra. The top looks and feels like plastic. Not sure how long this will last but it’s ok for now.
