I almost posted a 2 star review because my cup was leaking like crazy. I finally looked at the gasket and noticed that it was a little twisted. Once I fixed it, I turned it upside down, shook it, threw it in my bag and zero leaks!! I love that i could use it hot or cold so I have no need to buy a second tumbler. I had some concerns with the acrylic top and if there would be a lot of heat loss. Definitely doesn’t stay as hot for as long as my name brand thermos tumbler but it stays hot for a good 4 hours minimum and warm throughout my shift which is perfectly fine for my use. I purchased the Almond Birch color which in a lot of pictures looks like a cool beige/taupe but it’s more of an olive-beige and the olive tone can be quite pronounced in some lightings. I actually prefer this to the color I thought it was receiving but if you’re not a fan of olive/green you might want to choose a different color ... show more

I do love this little cup for coffee. It’s very modern & sleek looking. Great color options - the almond birch color has more of a beige undertone than the product photos show but still a nice color. I’ve been using it for about a month now & I have 2 small complaints. I loved the lid at first - durable compared to my other cups - but it doesn’t always catch correctly. I’ve had it leak once or twice but now I’m careful when putting on the lid so it’s not a huge issue. The other issue is that it doesn’t keep its heat very well - at least in comparison to my Swell brand cup. If you don’t take the lid off it probably won’t be a problem but I do for a few minutes to let it cool & then I put the lid back on. Coffee in my Swell cup would stay very warm after that but this one seems to be lukewarm unfortunately. Otherwise, good product overall if it keeps up. This cup and lid is the best! I was looking for an easy to clean lid/lip as I find that the sliding ones was always harder to clean. This is perfect. Pros: -easy to clean flip lid - leak proof - well price - color is beautiful - keeps my coffee hot for 3-4 hours at a time (I finish by that time) Cons: - I just want to own more lol Love this item and would get more if my cup lets me! :) ... show more

I LOVE this mug. I got the matching 22 oz water bottle (shown) and had to have the insulated coffee mug. It fits 16 ounces, and I am not worried about leaks. I've held it upside down and nothing came out. Plus, it keeps my coffee warm for quite a while, which is good, because I use these at work, and I am always getting interrupted or distracted by something so being able to come back to my hot coffee or my ice-cold water is wonderful. Such a cute aesthetic, but a simple and sleek design, I love that I was able to get them in the matching pattern. Another wonderful purchase from Simple Modern. Love that this is a screw-on top for the coffee thermos and comes with two straws as an added bonus! This is teacher approved!
