I purchased this looking for a hot tea mug, I cast a wide Amazon net and this was one of the things I tried. I don't use it for tea (which I tend to drink daily during the chilly months). But what I have ended up doing with this cup was to use it daily during the warmer months for cold water with ice. I've filled it with ice and water around 4pm and then left it alone until the next morning at 9am and it still had ice pieces in it, was still cold. I fill it before going to bed in case I wake up with a dry mouth or sore throat in the night. I carry it to the bus stop in the morning and to the grocery store. It makes it a lot easier to continue to drink water throughout the day. It's easy to clean, though I like to use a thicker straw cleaner to get inside the opening for the straw. Once it's cold again I'll end up switching back to my favored tea mug, but for now this has been great. ... show more

I couldn't make up my mind on what color to get so I got both the Sea Glass Sage and Cream Leopard. I love both so I am keeping both. I love that it comes with an alternate lid and 2 straws. This is my 2nd Simple modern water bottle. My first one, I just got at Target on either clearance aisle and have been using it for years. We stop drinking water from a glass at home because we accumulate so many glasses at the end of the day that we just drink out of our water bottle and this water bottle keeps my water cold all day! So when I saw a bigger SM tumbler with straw that I could keep beside my desk while working, I went ahead got one for me and my daughter. The sage sea glass is so pretty. Received my 28oz Simple Modern insulated cup yesterday and decided to take it for a spin this morning.. like many have mentioned, it’s great at keeping your beverages super cold.. I likely won’t put anything hot in it, but I imagine it performs there as it should as well. What I really love about this cup is the design. I can’t say I’m the kind of person for whom aesthetics are everything, but this cup is beautiful. I got it in the sea glass sage color and looking at it is part of the fun, it’s so simple, muted, and pretty. The cup doesn’t sweat at all and it’s narrow enough to fit a cup holder and my little hands. If you’re thinking of purchasing, do it. My only “complaint” is that it doesn’t fit two whole bottles of water but obviously I knew that when I ordered.. just would have been cool if it did! BUY IT. ... show more

I've been dehydrated since birth and have tried lots of tricks to get myself to fix that. Turns out, having a large skinny tumbler with a straw is what I needed. Minimal refilling, I don't have to tilt it back like I'm a dad at a barbecue downing a miller lite, it's not heavy, fits in cupholders, and I can reach it even if I leave it on the floor by my bed. Unparalleled ease of use for other lazy, dehydrated, and spill-prone girls out there. It really is spill proof when you knock it over - only thing to beware is if you leave it knocked over and its FULL, it'll leak out of the straw. The only time this was applicable was on an airplane when I forgot it in the pocket of my backpack which was under the seat. I would of liked to of gotten the bigger size because I drink a lot of water in a day, but didn’t care for the oblong shape. It’s been over 15 hours and my ice/water is still cold. Another plus is you can easily put the straw in after the ice and water. I’ve had issues with other cups where I couldn’t put the straw in after putting water on the ice because it turns into an impenetrable block. 10/10 would recommend and color exactly as pictured! ... show more

I got this insulated cup in multiple colors and sizes for myself, and others. The interchangeable lids for hot and cold drinks are great, I can get a coffee at 11:30 on my lunch and it's still warm when I'm off at 4:30. I prefer cold water, and having it insulated keeps my water cold longer which has helped me be able to drink more water on the daily! I have found I have a preference for the "hot" lid even with cold drinks because I don't have to worry about the straw getting dirty or leaking. I love this cup! I wanted to be able to switch from hot to cold and this is just what I was looking for! It comes with a lid for hot liquid and a leak proof lid and straw for cold liquids. It keeps my coffee hot for hours so be careful with the first sip. I make my coffee around 7 and it’s still hot at 10.
