I built this by myself over the course of 2.5 hours yesterday. The biggest issue I had was the screws not being labeled, only the bags which had an assortment of screws, so you have to go off the pictures in the instructions. I didn’t do that well and had to take extra time to swap screws toward the end. One screw was already worn down so I couldn’t remove it meaning one piece is down one screw, and that of course is one of the legs in the middle. It’s fine as long as I don’t move the bed. I’m pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness, I’m a 130lbs 24yo woman so I’m not the strongest but absolutely nothing wiggles or squeaks. I move a lot in my sleep and my mattress stayed in the same place all night with no added help. I was scared because of some of the reviews but I wasn’t missing any pieces and nothing arrived bent. I will say that one of my middle legs looked bent when I was putting it on but the bed stands straight so if it is, it isn’t posing an issue. Overall, I can’t speak for how this will hold over time but I bought it with the intention of having it for no more than two years, so not permanent but longly temporary, and I expect it to hold up fairly well until then. I don’t know how it would hold up for kids that like to jump on their bed since it’s fairly thin metal. ... show more

It took my husband and daughter about an hour to put it together. It looks pretty enough, it is just lower to the floor than we thought it would be. My daughter slept on it and said it was very comfy.

I purchased this bed frame in January 2021. It was for my, then, 13 year old son. It was incredibly easy to put together and it's surprisingly very sturdy. He has run and jumped into bed more times that I care to admit and it's still very sturdy. I saw some reviews on the mattress sliding around but we haven't had that issue. That said, that's an easy problem to solve if you buy the little furniture pads with the rubber bottoms. For us, his mattress doesn't move around enough to be problematic. For the price, it's a great bed frame. Especially for kids who aren't trying to "take care" of their furniture :) ... show more

I've had this frame for almost two years now, and here's what I'll say: Pros: •At the beginning, and when I was the only person sleeping in this bed, it was quiet, it didn't squeak. •Even now sharing the bed with another adult, the bed has lasted and we have had little to no issues. It's quite sturdy for two adults under 200lbs. •The frame itself is light weight and easy to lift or even tip on its side if you need to clean under it. •I was able to build it mostly by myself, though I would recommend having at least two people to put it together. •Super easy to clean and dust. •Frame pattern is lovely and has lasted all this time. Cons: •After two years (and now occupied by two petite adults), the frame squeaks a lot. Especially if your trying not to disturb your partner in the middle of the night, it's pretty obnoxious. Havent tried it yet, but might be fixable with WD40 and some re-tightening of the fasteners. Hence, why I gave the sturdiness ☆☆☆. •Mattress does slide easily, although this can be remedied if you purchase that rubber material that you would normally put under a placemat. •Package is heavy to carry by yourself. I was fortunate to receive this in the sticks and have assistance with carrying it and setting it up, however if you live in the city make sure you plan for this. Overall: I would recommend this if you're looking for something light weight, temporary, and transitional, but I would not recommend keeping it for longer than 3-5 years especially if you plan on sharing it with someone. Best recommended for older children to young adults or anyone living on their own or occupying their own space. I think it's a lovely and simple addition to almost any bedroom. ... show more

Overall the bedframe is good. Main reason I put it at a 4 is that the instructions aren't great. When you get to the part where you put in the screws labeled E, only put on the out ones on each bar, because you'll put the inner ones on in the next step. I had to undo mine and redo them because the instructions weren't that clear. Also, the instructions included mainly pictures and not words. Adorable bed but man was it a pain to put together. Took about an hour or so but she loves it and was excited to use her new bed tonight. The box came damaged but fortunately all parts were in new shape. The content pictures aren't the best as one screw doesn't match the picture in the instructions. Still giving it a high rating because this looks sturdy and she was excited though I was exhausted 😂 ... show more
