This is my first Platform bed. I have to say, I am very impressed by the support, strength and looks.It is easy to assemble and had all of the parts. The frame had a bent spot in it but it was fixable with a little pull to it. I am very unhappy with this bed frame. The date of this review is 07-January-2021. (I have only been using this bed for 2 weeks. I do not have the original packaging so I cannot return it.) While I was awaiting the delivery of my twin mattress, I was sleeping on this frame with my futon mattress. I have been having severe back pain which is my reason for buying a new bed frame and mattress. Today, I removed my futon mattress from this frame so I can put my new mattress on it. And found a partial source of my back pain. The cheaply made bars are bent like a 20-year old saggy couch. After only two weeks of use. And the little plastic things that hold the bars in are actually popping up and out of the rails. And the combined weight of my futon mattress and myself amounts to nowhere near the purported weight limit of around 250 pounds. So now, I have a bunch of useless metal pieces and I am not happy. ... show more

We bought 3 of these: silver, white, and black. The silver and white beds came with silver hardware and the black bed came with black hardware. So, really, the visible hardware only showed on the white bed. They were very easy for one person to put together and the instructions were clear. ALTHOUGH SOME AREAS WERE SCRATCHED UP AND A RUBBER PIECE THAT HOLDS ONE OF THE RAILS WAS MISSING IT WAS NOT THAT HARD TO ASSEMBLE. I WEIGHT 200LBS AND I SAT ON THE BED BEFORE I ALLOWED MY CHILD TO GET ON IT. TO MY SURPRISE IT DID NOT ROCK NOR BEND😅.... DEFINATELY WORTH THE PRICE CONSIDERING THE SMALL FLAWS. They are cheap beds. Some of the cheapest on amazon and they look really good for the price. I have no worries about them breaking either, they are sturdy if put together correctly. Assembly was kind of a pain, but not more than expected. Only real complaint is that the mattress never stays centered. I’m going to fashion some kind of a brace in to keep in the middle...maybe. ... show more

The assembly was not easy for ME! Don’t let my comment stop you from buying this bed. I’m not a builder, I just decorate. I assemble this bed with my 18 year old sister. We were struggling at first. The directions were only pictures and numbers. No numbers on the bed bars, we had to match the pictures to the bars along with matching the screws to the bars. That was our ONLY struggle. The holes For screws matched up perfectly for us. Once we understood.... we matched up the bed bars with the photos, we were good. WE ARE NOT BUILDERS... so don’t let my comment scare you from getting the bed. It’s a study bed. No screws missing. Packaged well. Delivered on time. Once we finished the bed it was great! I bought this for myself because I had a very ancient bed frame. This frame was really simple to put together, despite the moment that I accidentally put something together the wrong way. I do not like this bed. I wanted something more rounded and "girly". Don't get me wrong this frame is no where near masculine, just not what I was wanting. The frame was put together fairly easy, I did however make the mistake of putting the side rail pieced one upside down and one right way up. Dumb mistake and I giggled about it later, but that being the most difficult part of putting it together doesn't seem too big a deal. When the box was delivered it was really raggedy and toren. The frame it's self was all still inside the box with some scuff makes and black ink? marks on it in several places. I haven't tried to clean them off but hopefully they will remove with a little elbow grease or a magic eraser without removing the paint. My daughter 10 likes her new bed and mattress and has decorated it to her likeimg (see picture) all in all I am satisfied with this hundred dollar frame and it should last her a year or two until it is time to upgrade to a double/full bed. (Ps we are still unpacking and moving in) ... show more
