My husband purchased a different bed for our daughter when we transitioned her out of her crib. It was a simple, white wooden bed for a 1 1/2 year old. It was cheap and of course when I went to sit on it, the thing broke in half (just my luck). I was in search for a new and affordable, yet adorable bed for my daughter. I needed something that wasn't too expensive in case I would need to replace it in the near future (my daughter likes to play Jackson Pollock with the contents of her diaper, so expensive things are not allowed in her room right now). I stumbled across this bed and after seeing the reviews, I purchased it without hesitation. It was super easy to put together, manageable to get on for my daughter (who is now 2), and of course I had to test it out to test out the weight limit. For a bed that is not expensive, it felt like it must have been reinforced with 6 inches of steel because it held me no problem! WOOO!! My daughter wanted a white metal bed. Looking at reviews, none of them sounded perfect but this one seemed solid so we went for it. First off let me say ours did not suffer any shipping damage. No scratches or dings of any kind. Putting it together was straightforward. Just have to pay attention to the detailed drawings. The only glitch during assembly was that some of the threads that were integrated into the frame were not totally clean. The bolts didn’t want to finger tighten. Couldn’t get the bolt started only by finger. I’d say this only happened to maybe 5% of all bolts. For those, I simply used a ratchet with socket to apply a little pressure. It didn’t take a lot of work and they screwed in fine after the initial resistance, it might have been some paint got into the threads. The bed seems sturdy. My daughter is an average 13 year old. I’ve sat on the edge of the bed with her in it and I weigh 220. I told her not to jump on it during slumber parties and it will be fine. So far we feel it’s an excellent value and nicely made. I purchased this bed frame in January 2021. It was for my, then, 13 year old son. It was incredibly easy to put together and it's surprisingly very sturdy. He has run and jumped into bed more times that I care to admit and it's still very sturdy. I saw some reviews on the mattress sliding around but we haven't had that issue. That said, that's an easy problem to solve if you buy the little furniture pads with the rubber bottoms. For us, his mattress doesn't move around enough to be problematic. For the price, it's a great bed frame. Especially for kids who aren't trying to "take care" of their furniture :) ... show more

Very cute. Seems sturdy and like a good deal for what I paid. They were easy to put together and everything was there and in good condition. My only complaint is that the mattress slides all over- there’s no lip or anything to keep the mattress from sliding right off the frame so I have to buy separate pieces to attach. ... show more

I absolutely love this frame it is super nice and easy to put together. I got a memory foam mattress with it and I wasn’t sure whether or not it would sink into it but everything holds really nicely and it’s super sturdy. I also love the design on it and the overall look is super nice. I was worried that my ankles would hang over the bottom of the bed but it’s a nice level to her if I bumped it the night it wouldn’t bother me. Would definitely recommend to somebody who has trouble putting things together and needs something simple for a great price! ... show more

First thing: BE SURE TO PUT THE SLATS IN CORRECTLY! They are nearly impossible to get out and 4 of them have to be put in specific spots. They are the 4 that have holes in them for the support legs. The rest of the assembly was a piece of cake. I like that its not bulky. It does creak occasionally when I move around on the bed if one of the support slats moves a bit, but it is barely audible. I have the picture of the dogs so you can see how low the headboard is compared to real life things. I like the lowness but I expected it to be taller because in the picture it looks like the pillows are normal sized and turned up, but my pillow lying flat almost completely covers the decorative work. The mattress is a 10" mattress also from Amazon. The packaging was great so there were no scratches or scuffs and the welds feel good so I don't worry that it will fall apart. I have only had the bed for about 2 weeks though. There is room underneath for tubs too (or 2 medium adventitious dogs), which is great because I'm living in an apartment and the storage is welcome. ... show more

After reading reviews I decided to go ahead and give these beds a try. I ordered two twin sizes. They were easy to assemble... took me about 50 minutes to put two together. They’re very cute! Are they going to last a lifetime? No. Are they going to hold up to jumping or a lot of weight? No. But for two 35lb 5 yr old girls, they’re perfect! I would not recommend for an adult or even large teen but for a child, absolutely! Again, they’re not going to hold up to jumping or anything crazy but for their purpose, sleeping, they’re not too bad for under $100!! ... show more

    • Pretty but not convenient

I want to like this bed, the design, it's sturdy but the frame itself is too narrow for a twin size mattress! Literally hangs out on both sides making it slide all over unless it's against a wall and even then it sticks out as the frame is a lot smaller than a standard size twin mattress.
