The super-elastic fabric is very breathable, enhancing comfort and airflow. Previously, I would feel hot at night, but since using this mattress, I wake up feeling refreshed. When I ordered this item in December, it was for a queen sized mattress COVER, not a queen mattress. The five star rating is for the mattress cover. It fits very well on my queen bed and is very soft, with deep corner pockets. It washes up really well, staying very smooth to the touch.
