I Could not decide on the gray or high contrast screen, so I ordered the material sample kit from the Silver Ticket website. The samples arrived in about 5 days and as soon as they did I set them up on the wall and turned my Epson LS11000 on. I played a bunch of different movies and 4k content, it became very apparent that the gray and high contrast samples looked the best! The high contrast displayed superior blacks and really did not wash the colors out! So I went ahead and ordered the high contrast…. The screen arrived in two days and was super easy to assemble, watching the Silver Ticket assembly video was super helpful especially when it came to stretching the screen material onto the frame. You definitely want to follow the directions on this to ensure your screen is super smooth and wrinkle free! With the help of my wife we mounted the screen and it definitely gave the theater a professional look, it’s super slick looking!!!! The picture my LS11000 now puts out is on par with my 65 inch LG OLED tv, I’m actually kind of shocked how well everything turned out!     • What a great complement to a 4k laser projector!

This 120" gray screen really made a difference for me! When I first got the projector (Hisense C2 Pro) I was projecting on the wall. Without a defined dark border, I had to manually adjust the image to fit the wall. I had my son help me put this Silver Ticket screen together, because it is large, and a little unwieldly to do alone. It went together in less than 30 minutes, and was relatively easy to mount on the wall. I thought I might have made a mistake buying the gray screen, rather than the more conventional white screen, but in the basement theater, where we can almost completely eliminate ambient light, the screen really performs! I think the gray does help to produce a darker black, and better contrast. The black flocked border is easily identified by the projector's sensors, and allows the projector to automatically correct for keystone, size and focus! We have the projector on a floor mounted tripod off to one side, so manually adjusting the screen would otherwise be difficult. Since this is a dedicated space, the fixed screen is fine, but I could see where having a screen that would retract would be beneficial if the setup is in a livingroom which is used for many purposes, and TV/Movies is only one. If I needed a second projector setup in my home (can't imagine why), then I'd certainly look to the Silver Ticket series of projection screens again! ... show more

    • High contrast 135" .95 gain grey screen Epson LS12000

Screen frame was easy to assemble and though it took time to thread the tension rods it was not terrible. Screen came with a couple creases that would not smooth out after over a week of being under tension. Overall I was happy with it but instead of exchanging it for another due to the crease I decided to go with the 1.0 gain grey screen for the replacement. The screen had a sparkle or shimmer to it when flat colors such especially white were projected into it. Not very noticeable with a movie but any time I was in a menu or watching something animated it was glaring. Screen also really dampened the brightness and color pretty significantly. It still looked great and made the darker scenes deep and inky as intended but made a pretty big impact on the colors, brightness, and vibrancy of everything else you play. I couldn't seem to adjust the projector to overcome this and have been happier with the 1.0 grey screen even though the black levels are better with the high contrast. ... show more

    • High Contrast Grey Screen = Deep, dark tasty goodness

I've been using this screen for a few months now, and I must say that I am wholly impressed by its performance. I previously had a 1.1 gain white screen, and it was serviceable. I used it with the LG HU80KA. That projector isn't that great (I did a long review, if you're curious). This screen breathed some life into that projector in ways that the white screen was completely incapable of providing. With that said, I now have the Epson 5050UB. It blows the HU80KA out of the water... but also, it feel like a wonderful match with this screen. It is a very bright projector, and with "typical" 1080p SDR material, it looks great with low brightness and in "Digital Cinema" mode. When watching 4k HDR material, I stick the player into "Natural" or "Bright Cinema" mode, and the 110" .95 gain screen still allows ample amounts of brightness. The blacks are deep, and inviting. My eyes are lovingly caressed by the juicy, creamy goodness that the projector and this screen provide together. CONCLUSION: It's difficult to fairly review the relevance of a projector screen for everyone, since each room has its own quirks and brightness levels. My room has very low ambient lighting, and my Epson 5050UB blasts a decent amount of light. With those conditions, this screen does an excellent job allowing a very tasty visual display. Even with average room lighting, it still holds a decent presentation. The black velvet frame helps soak light bleed like a champ (and trick your eyes into thinking the screen is darker). Single drawback - the high contrast fabric does have a more porous skin than a plain white screen. So, if you sit closer than about 9 feet from the screen, you may notice a shimmery surface in the fabric compared to a more "dense" fabric style. This screen ROCKS! Easy install - just take your time and follow the very clear instructions. The aluminum on aluminum brackets don't slide easily as you might think. But overall - this screen beats out my Elite Screen which it replaced by a significant margin. And it was less $$. Bought the Cinema grey - amazing! The screen I received was completely different from what I expected. In the description it is 110”. But only the width of the screen I received was 137”. Material is also different. I expected to get silver high contrast material (like in the description), but got white. And I am sure it is not high contrast material. What is also interesting, that I have significant problems with returning the item. Overall quality of the screen is bad too. Poorly packed, box was partly open. Not good at all. ... show more
