UPDATE: Everything works, HOWEVER, the part that sweeps the ice to the holding basket doesn't have enough torque to flip the ice over the edge; meaning the ice falls into the same spot and builds up against the sensor thinking it's full when it's not. If you're wanting a FULL basket of ice, you need to manually move the ice, so it continues to go through the "making' process. (I found my last ice maker at a discount, so purchased another one of that brand and will keep this one until I get tired of babysitting it by moving the ice or simply keep this one for backup or moving it to my camper} So far so good! (I will be honest and say that I like the aesthetics of my last ice maker better. And dimension worked for my counter better....but...there are things that I like about this ice maker as well. My other maker had this feature and loved it and is the main reason I was willing to try this brand; yet no one has mentioned or demonstrated it in photos in their reviews. The future I'm referring to is the fact you can open up the top and clean the whole ice-making mechanism! See photos. This ice maker works fine and cranks out the ice. I bought this one because of the claim of 40% bigger cubes. Im not seeing that. These bullet cubes are the same size as any of the rest of this type of ice maker. I have owned several.

Been wanting to buy an ice maker to use in my bedroom at home and saw this Amazon recommendation. After a week of use, I learned how to use this machine. Just plug in the power supply and add water then click the switch, it is recommended to add bottled water, tap water is prone to scale. When using it for the first time, it is recommended to fill it up to the bottom of the basket, and then pour out the water and ice cubes in it after continuous work for 24 hours, and do not eat it. Then clean the inside of the machine. Then you can use it with confidence. Below are the pros and cons found during use. Advantages: small and convenient, low power, only 110w. After stable ice-making, the ice cubes are relatively large. Disadvantage: No user manual, only product manual. Making ice cubes makes noise and is not suitable for use in bedrooms, or in rooms where quietness is required. ... show more

Does it's job! In my home trying to get others to fill ice trays and find a spot in the freezer where they don't get knocked around before they've made ice or actually having ice available even when you're the one to have last filled the ice trays is virtually impossible! This thing is the answer to years of frustration and arguments over who took the last of the ice and didn't bother to refill the trays. Why didn't I get this thing years ago?! This ice maker is exactly what my house was missing! The cubes are pretty much ready on demand, and if they aren't it takes under 5 minutes for a whole new stock pile to be made. I love this thing. It's extremely quiet and keep my refreshments nice and cold. I also like the unique shape of ice it makes. They take up more surface area which I think helps with keeping drinks cold.
