The media could not be loaded. This is a decent-quality mannequin head with a great sample of hair to use for coloring or styling. The hair has a mix of different colors, including grey, to provide more of a challenge with hair coloring than you'd see with flat-colored hair. ive had this product for 2 years . i used this product to practice hairstyling and trying different styles and looks before doing it on myself or others. ive done a few haircuts and a bleach job and the hair looked great after ive washed many times and have been taking good care of hair but the hair does fall out a bit easily sometimes with just gently brushing the hair falls out a bit much but that hasnt been a terrible problem because other than that everything else has been honestly great and its helped alot. ... show more

I’m very pleased with the mannequin. It arrived fast, as pictured and it’s great for practicing braids and styling . I got it for my teen daughter and she loves it. The dye is reddish brown with some silver peeking through. It has a good amount of hair. When braided it looks like someone with thinning hair but for the price, I think that is not an issue. I washed and conditioned the hair upon receiving it. It smelled like chemically processed hair but after washing it, it smells good. It is natural hair, curls nicely, great for practicing different styles. The company has incredible customer service. They sent an email to check if I’m satisfied with the product. I used this doll hundreds of times and her hair constantly breaks, around the front hairline, throughout the head, therefore when I would curl her or do shampoo sets and brush them out, you can see all the broken hairs springing up around her hair giving her a frizzy appearance. Definitely not 100% human hair, it feels like a horse hair to me, and there’s some synthetic hair throughout. She was somewhat soft when she first arrived with frizzy fried ends that I eventually cut off, but throughout my time using her repeatedly for all kinds of things such as perms, using hot tools, and using actual lightener, her hair breaks and started to feel really rough to the touch no matter how much product I put. Other doll babies I use just as frequently for beauty school don’t result the same as she does, so I say spend a little more money on something better quality. ... show more

Great mannequin for the price point! I bought two and one was a little more dense than the other but that didn’t bother me too much. Let it be noted this mannequin DOES shed after doing any lightening work but it holds up very well. It take permanent color slightly uneven but I don’t expect it to be perfect for $40 and then it’s multiple people’s hair; which can all take color differently. 10/10 recommend, though!
