Was extremely surprised by the high quality of these umbrellas for the price. Beautifully made. Sturdy yet elegant. Heavy weight cloth. Huge! Such a good deal it was pretty much too for the price of one. Came so carefully packaged that they were probably in better condition that if you bought them in a department store. For the price, just wow! I thought I was getting one, but it was actually two umbrellas. They are durable, can bear during a *STRONG* thunderstorm, and look gorgeous.

The umbrellas have a nice auto-open and are not too difficult to pull closed. I specifically wanted an umbrella with a j-hook that could be hung on a shopping cart when closed but wet so it would be out of the way and not dripping on everything. The umbrellas come in a plastic "tube" but there is no actual umbrella fabric "sleeve" for storage, although there is a velcro strap that keeps the umbrella closed. I added a rubber cap from a hiking stick (standard size) to the end so the umbrella can be used as a lightweight cane if needed. Unfortunately one of the umbrellas came with a sizable crack in the wood handle. Minus one star for the cracked handle, minus one star for not having an actual storage sleeve. ... show more
