Was not expecting any problems with these......... but 2 of the tips tore through on their initial outing. Worse was that I only used 6 of them so the failure rate was really excessive. The application was light duty and I have short fingernails so there’s no explanation other than quality of the product. With my experience I simply can’t conceive of any valid purpose for buying these. Sorry I fully thought these would get lost before they broke. Very disappointed. ... show more

Item does exactly what it says & protects from heat to a degree. They fit well & stay in place better than leather finger cots. I use them when polishing or grinding jewelry pieces as they get hot from friction. I've also use them to protect my fingers when cabbing (cutting & grinding stones) to protect from scratching my fingers & fingernail polish as well...nice little side benifit! I bought these because I've been making masks in bulk and I keep getting my fingers burned by my iron when I am pressing down my hem line so it's easier to sew. I finally got tired of getting burned so I looked online for a solution. These protectors work great! I had them on while pinning down fabric bc I just hadn't taken them off and they saved me from several pokes too! The great thing is that I can also use these for when I'm crafting and using hot glue. I haven't used them for hot glue yet, but whenever I use hot glue I seem to burn my finger tips. Since there is very little to do with the virus I have been doing more crafts and expect to use them for even more uses very soon. ... show more

Last Christmas I hot glued two fingers together and traded my fingerprints for blisters! Was hoping these would work and they do! At first it looked like they were all really big, but they are stacked so the little ones are nested in the larger ones. Perfect fit for anyone between Big Daddy and Little Girlie. Miss Independent wants to use the glue gun by herself, and I wasn’t hovering as much when she was wearing these. Good to have! ... show more

These making crafting projects with a glue gun fun again. You only have to burn a finger badly once with what, 400 degree glue?, to wish for this kind of solution. And here it is. I’d backed off crafting while a finger recovered, and now am free to re-create. The different sizes are key. The large size is a bit too big for some of my fingers but they do stay on better than another, shorter version I tried, and are nice and pliable. I use them on all 10 fingers bc it was a pinky that I’d thought was out of the line of fire that got hot glue on it before (couldn’t get that under cold water fast enough).
