Stop. Buy this resin. It is the best. I've tried 10s of brands of various coating and casting resins. I would not use this for casting necessarily but it is the easiest to use and most forgiving for coating. Follow the instructions and be sure to pre-warm the parts in a warm water bath (like tap water hot) before using to minimize bubbles. It is kind of expensive, but the manufacturer is no fly-by-night operation. They care and this product is great. ... show more

    • LOVE IT for beginner getting into Resin!
The media could not be loaded. This product was fairly easy to use. I am a beginner with Resin coating. It worked perfectly! Coating my projects went smoothly. The smell is on the stronger side, but isn’t too bad. I would suggest wearing a mask though.

Expensive resin but I need food safe resin for some wood boards I was making that would come in contact with food. Easy 1:1 ratio mixing and good hard cure time. Pour was nice and it’s self leveling. The only thing I didn’t like about this resin was all the bubbles! Had to work hard to remove the bubbles with heat gun. I’m not sure I would buy again due to the expense unless I really needed food safe resin again. ... show more

I have been using ArtResin for years. I have experimented with other brands and always come back to ArtResin. As an artist and crafter, it is important to have a product you know is reliable and that is ArtResin. Years later and none of my projects have yellowed and still crystal clear. If you follow the directions, you will get consistent results! Only complaint is I wish you could buy the hardener by itself. ... show more

We have done a lot of epoxy pours with these - they are completely odorless. Dries in about 30-40 minutes and completely hard in 12-15 hours. Stirs easy and pours easy. I would not use another epoxy (and I have tried others). I however do not believe this is better than standard epoxy/resin (professional grade), but if you want to do it without fumes, this is the best. I do feel this is over priced compared to other epoxy...but it's worth it...don't try a cheaper brand, you'll regret it. ... show more

    • Must read! Real review from resin user of other brands.
I decided to give Art Resin a try after reading how it is thick and perfect for doming. Well that is not exactly the case. This resin has a lot of draw back for my purpose. I use it to coat polymer clay objects not cast pieces. I do rotate pieces and wait till resin sets and I apply more. This resin is actually thinner then other resins I have used, when it pulls up in crevices it wants to bubble and does not take to a lighter or gray well to get rid of bubbles. Takes longer to set and longer to fully cure. It is very clear but that’s about the only positive as you can get the same look with other resins that are less expensive and do a better job. I’ll give this resin to my daughter as it is not really suitable for the high end projects I create. I would recommend Amazing clear cast for anyone who wants to coat objects or charms and have a greater resin thickness. ... show more

    • Easy to use
I have used many brands. This one is my favorite so far. It does cost a lot and it does have a low odor but not horrible. I think if you use a mask you wouldn’t notice. I think the key to low bubbles is slow stirring or a pressure pot. I’ll continue to use it!
