Great mouthpiece cap! Covers the reed well and isn’t at all close to the ligature so there isn’t any issues with fit there. It sits sturdy on, so it’s not going to fall off. Nice, smooth silicone with no stickiness or weird smells. Overall, it works great and is worth the cost!

The item is very creative. If you will keep the sax on a stand, this cap will work just fine. But if you are considering moving the instrument (like walking with it), you need to be watchful of the cap bc it easily fall off.

I am one to drop my mouth piece more than I'd like to admit. The amount of times this cap has saved me from spending another 200 on a mouthpiece is too many to count. I love how it stays on and doesn't fall off, unlike plastic mouthpiece caps. A lot of room at the tip ensures that if it does fall on the tip, a good amount of silicone will protect it. These are great for marching season. My daughter was going through a reed a week until I got this. I made her use it. She can hide it in her uniform when marching or instrument in use. So far, she has not used but one reed in 3 weeks!
