I received the card with the code for the Business Edition update in the mail in 2 days, as expected. I opened the Silhouette Studio program, basic edition. Went to "Help" then clicked on "Upgrade silhouette studio." I entered the code on the card and clicked "submit." The upgrade process literally took 2 seconds, maybe just 1 second. Happened so fast I didn't realize it was done. On the right side of the screen were all the new features that were now enabled. So next I updated my laptop using the same code, but this time I focused on the right side of the screen when I clicked submit. The update was immediate. I doesn't get any easier than this.
