I am not 100% sure what it is for, but I used it to wrap a wooden stand I made to be a backseat delete. It is strong, cutting it was more work than I would have liked, but that means it is tough. Not very durable. Stretches if you look at it wrong. Does look nice if used as trim. Cuts nice, has a good cut edge the lends itself to speakr box construction. I'm not super excited about it but i cant go back.
