- Air Sensor Technology: An integrated air sensor displays the air pressure on the machine's front panel. Users can manually adjust the air pressure using the air regulator, as automatic adjustment is not available. An air filter is installed at the rear of the unit, featuring a quick-connect 1/4 NPT air fitting for easy setup. When connected to an air compressor, the recommended air pressure should be set to around 70 PSI, with a flow rate of approximately 250 liters per minute(Note: Purchase the air compressor separately)
- PT/2T/4T/PA Function: The post-flow cooling time, adjustable between 3 and 15 seconds, extend the life of the torch head and consumables. The 2T mode offers semi-automatic control over the torch trigger, whereas the 4T mode enables fully automatic triggering, freeing the operator's hand. The PA setting adjusts the duration of the pilot arc. Additionally, the SILATU plasma cutter model STC850P MAX incorporates a mesh cutting mode designed to prevent arc interruption when cutting mesh materials
- CNC Cutting Torch: Under the CNC function, we recommend using a straight torch, which is an optional accessory and not a standard component. The straight torch offers greater convenience, although it comes at a higher cost. We recommend either the PTM80 or the PTM60 models. Of course, the handheld cutting torch that comes with the machine can also be used with the CNC system, it just needs to be securely fastened

So far, this thing is incredible. I hesitated for a long time to buy one of these budget plasma cutters. I had such a good experience with a budget Chinese welding machine, though, that I decided to give a plasma cutter a try. This Silatu 55A cutter is cheaper than most on Amazon and has good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Some things to note: it's small and lightweight, which is nice. The power cord isn't real long, so you'll need an extension cord if you plan to move it around your shop. You need a large air compressor. I'm running a 26 gal Craftsman compressor, and it kicked on every 5 minutes or so while I was using it for the first time for about an hour. This thing cuts like butter through about anything that a DIYer in his/her garage shop would throw at it. In fact, I had the amperage and air pressure cranked all the way up, and it cut through 1/4 steel a little too fast. Once I turned both down, it was controllable and still cut really well. I've not tested it on 1/2 steel, but I'm sure it would do fine. That's all on 220, by the way. I've not tried it on 110, and I probably won't. As reviewers have noted on here and on Youtube, you won't get the full power and capability on 110. It is nice to be able to use it on 110 if you're in a pinch, though. One note on the HF Non-touch feature. Pay attention to this. There are cutters that require contact with the metal and the cutter tip. Those require the metal to be free of paint and/or rust. This one, though, does not require contact (and has the metal frame thing around the tip to provide space). That's an important feature that's worth paying a bit extra for if need be. I have cut through steel covered in paint and rusted steel just fine with this one. Amazing. Overall, you can't go wrong with this budget plasma cutter. I'm a DIYer who works in my woodshop and metal shop in the evenings and on the weekends. I'm no expert, but I'm guessing I'm just the type of guy who would buy this. I can't speak to the durability of the machine, but I'm hopeful it will last a long time at the rate at which I use it. If I get 5 years out of a $115 plasma cutter, I'll be overjoyed.

I bought this plasma cutter, the STC750P, a few months ago and am just now getting to use it. I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I'm building the structural steel supports for an elevated apartment building, so it's a lot of cutting and coping, and so far, I couldn't ask for much better. I'll attach a pic of the stairway header plates I just cut. The steel is 1/2" thick, and the plate is 5' wide. The heaviest cut I've made is 3/4", and it did well, but you could tell it was reaching its limit. Also, I've never used a plasma before, so maybe I could make some adjustments to get a little more out of it. Definitely buy more consumables if you have a large project and keep your air supply dry. I tried the Harbor Freight model and it was a dismal failure. I was going to try Arc Captain but came across the Silatu 75. More amps and cheaper than Arc Captain. I've only cut up to 1/2 in. plate, although I had to slow down a bit, it did cut the 1/2in. material. Smaller stuff it cuts like butter. 50 amps, 60 psi air and look out this baby will cut.

The 65 amp blowback CNC capable model I purchased is better than expected. I tested it over a wide range of amperage and air pressure settings using the included charts in the well written manual. The performance was on par with machines costing five times this price point. This will not disappoint for hand cutting but will really shine on a CNC table. The manual makes the set up easy and the charts help you match the power for the material your cutting.

Zero stars if possible. Ordered a unit that said it would be delivered by a certain date, then delivery date changed for a month later. Hadnt been shipped in 2 weeks. Canceled and ordered different machine that would be here in 2 days. Machine arrives and is defective. Incorrect installation of parts from factory caused a massive air leak from machine. Messaged silatu, customer service gave me the run around for over a week. Finally instead of offering to send a replacement, they want me to wait almost 2 weeks for a damaged item replacement to arrive and want me to tear apart a brand new machine and risk further damage to the unit. Have had the machine almost 2 weeks completely unusable and now must wait 2 more for some replacement parts. And if i damage the machine from tearing it apart or it doesnt work when i put it together then im out of luck. Amazon direct did try to offer a refund but i was already dealing with then company directly in hopes they would resolve the issue. And it was going to take up to 30 days or more to recieve a refund. Terrible, terrible business from silatu.

Upon arrival, the unit would not acknowledge that it was connected to 230 volts, which caused me to spend time making sure there was nothing wrong with my power source (there wasn't) I contacted customer service and they told me to take the cover off of it and check the internal ground, as it may have come loose during shipment....which it did. The factory wiring practices should be reexamined and changed especially because the unit is built for portability. Other than that, it works well and would have received 5 stars.

Great plasma machine. Came with everything needed. Been using it a fair amount with no issues. I would definitely recommend it! vs speeding big $ on a name brand one. You can buy three of these for the price of a "blue" brand one. Definitely would recommend it!
