I used the original back in the 90’s this is comparable… smaller & not as tight, however, for my 5’3 frame it’s a great size. I do 150 reps while brushing my teeth morning & night and it has helped tone-up my quads more than anything, slight change in inner thighs (those are pretty flabby.) Overall I’m happy. This is great for toning but you won’t “build” much muscle with it. Now, I so squeeze the bejeebees out of this- so not sure how long the foam will last- this is after daily use x three weeks. 😉 Regardless, a good deal! Update: A few weeks later I can do 250 at a time. I have noticed toning on the outside of my inner thighs (outer thigh/lower hip?) area rounding has been a really Nice surprise! Super pleased with curves I did not expect… but I do not feel those muscles engaging until I hit around 200. Regardless— super EASY and mins a day! Wish I knew what # tension is on the spring. Would love it a but stronger so I could do less reps. ... show more
