The mattress is wonky, the head of the bed is the proper width for a full size mattress but the foot of the bed is 8 inches skinnier. Medium firm is just firm. There is a fiberglass mesh under the outer layer and it does stay quite warm. It is very comfortable the value is good my sis got something alive for like $100 extra the only thing I don’t like is in the corners it don’t get up. But is not a problem in all the rest of the mattress it goes to the 10” which is what I got

It is very comfortable but not 8" thick. It also tapers on both the head and the foot of the mattress. This doesn't affect the foot too much but you need a thicker pillow or 2 pillows to accommodate the taper at the head.

Said 8 inches but I let lay for 3 day it got up to 4 inches thick I was very disappointed had to buy another mattress 4 inches thick just to get the 8 inches it was supposed to be in the first place

After 12 years it was time to get anew mattress. This was on sale, a great deal! Mattress is medium to firm to sleep on, great support. Only took a couple days to expand after we got it. This item is good but on the ends of the mattress they did not inflate as much as the rest of the mattress to even it out. Maybe it was wrapped up too tight before packaging.

I gave this 3 stars because after over a week of “letting it expand”, following the instructions, even watching YouTube for tips and tricks one corner will still not fully expand. The mattress itself is comfortable but the corner not fully expanding is irratiating and returning is even more of a pain. ... show more

My bed frame as a 10” clearance, so the 8” mattress was perfect to fit under my mattress topper, but the most it’s puffed up to is 7 inches and the foot, where it was rolled tightest in the box, is only 5 - 5 1/2 inches.
