I'll give it a 4 but its a 3.5 at best. For only 10 pounds I didn't think these would be so large. They're the size of a dinner plate and like 2+ inches wide. With the size they are you can only fit about two plates on either side of a dumbbell. Also, I bought used but good condition and 2 were broken and the one was leaking. ... show more

I got four 20lb plates, two 10lb plates, and bar with 2 star locks. Everything came packaged nicely and clean. The bar came in a thick mailing tube with 3 screws on each end to keep the bar from popping out. It was hard removing, but I appreciate it being secured. I will likely buy spring locks because the spin locks take too long to put on. Besides that, everything got delivered, quality is great, size, feel, look, and gets the job done at home. ... show more

I've had these for at least 18 months and they are falling apart. The sand filler is leaking out constantly, all over my floors and me while i'm lifting. They are also extremely bulky and not a good use for dumbells. get these if you are looking for only temporary weights.
