So, you should know this is very poorly built. Like the place where your supposed to screw the leg in fell out as I was assembling it. One of the corners of my desk was badly dented and there were little dings everywhere. The drawers were very sticky as well, but I fixed it with some WD40. I also added screws to the legs so that it would be sturdier. Customer service issued a partial refund which is why this review has 5 stars. I always stand by good customer service. However, it’s still pretty, it looks really good. It is a great size and super easy to assemble. I definitely recommend flipping it over onto its legs with a second person. Update: The drawers seem to be malfunctioning at this point. It still looks nice but the stool is also very flimsy and won’t last much longer. It’s not made for an adult if any weight. For the price I paid I expected better quality of workmanship. This product is good quality of material but the leg alignment in the vanity are poorly made. The tighter you screw the bolts in the more they become unstraightleaving them looking bowed. My top also came with a cracked corner. All in all it’s a nice looking vanity . I opted to keep it and repair the cracked corner with wood stain. Not much I can do about the legs but it is still a sturdy piece and the way I have it situated in the room makes it unnoticeable. The drawers are nice and deep but not quite deep enough for most hair product bottles to stand. They have to be laid down. I would purchase again. ... show more

When this product arrived the box was severely gouged and the tape had been almost totally ripped off. There were gouges marring the top of the vanity, and one of the drawers was not inserted correctly. After struggling with the drawer I got it in, but it would not open or close smoothly. The other drawers were a little difficult to open and close also. The vanity was missing the hardware needed to attach the mirror, and after spending 30 minutes on the phone with a robot I was told I would get a call in 3 hours from a representative. No one called. A few days later, I noticed the base of the vanity was pulling away from the frame at a place that had been glued together. This caused the middle drawer and the left side drawer to become cock-eyed and made them even harder to open and close. I am now in the process of packing it back up to return. Save your money! Ok, so I should be asleep since it is nearly midnight, but honestly I was too excited I couldn’t wait to write this review. I have been watching this vanity on another website for nearly $500. It’s been almost a year of me talking myself in and out of spending that much money on it. So the other day I searched the vanity on google and realized this is Ashley Furniture... which was not advertised on the site I had been watching. I found Ashley has this set for a tad bit more than Amazon. To be honest I was shocked this was listed $150 less than I had almost purchased it for. I was worried it was almost too good to be true. But I decided to take the leap and buy it here. I am sooo happy I did. The item arrived the next day (days before it was supposed to). It was super easy for me to get upstairs and build myself. There was no damage, it’s sturdy and gals it’s freaking beautiful. I decided to take a stab at building it after passing out Halloween candy and it was finished in a jiffy. I originally had ordered this vanity for my wife and it was delayed twice and was delivered damaged. The box was damaged badly upon delivery by UPS so we carefully unwrapped the vanity for inspection. We completed the return process which was very easy and painless. We did UPS pickup and UPS picked the vanity up at no extra cost and we promptly had another delivered at pick up. The second box was intact. The vanity was wrapped well. So I’m not convinced it was the manufacturer or Amazons fault for the first damaged product. It was very easy to put together took about 30-45 minutes as the big parts are one piece. It came with all the hardware and tools needed. It’s a very beautiful distressed cream color. The drawers easily open on a track and are large and lined with felt. The stool is comfy and study. I give Amazon 5 stars on how easy this return process happened. I am in love with this vanity and would purchase again! ... show more

This is a beautiful piece and well-made. It is solid and heavy. I previously ordered this vanity from another vendor for myself. My mom liked it so much she wanted one. So I ordered her one through Amazon. What arrived was such a disappointment. It was destroyed. The drawer was damaged and would not pull out. The face of the drawer was not even attached. It was clear that this had been damaged and was a previous return. You could tell it had been repackaged. Amazon, do NOT resell this damaged and broken vanity. I just reordered it for my mom through a different company- not Amazon. I have included pictures of my vanity and the one that arrived broken. ... show more
