Ok, so I should be asleep since it is nearly midnight, but honestly I was too excited I couldn’t wait to write this review. I have been watching this vanity on another website for nearly $500. It’s been almost a year of me talking myself in and out of spending that much money on it. So the other day I searched the vanity on google and realized this is Ashley Furniture... which was not advertised on the site I had been watching. I found Ashley has this set for a tad bit more than Amazon. To be honest I was shocked this was listed $150 less than I had almost purchased it for. I was worried it was almost too good to be true. But I decided to take the leap and buy it here. I am sooo happy I did. The item arrived the next day (days before it was supposed to). It was super easy for me to get upstairs and build myself. There was no damage, it’s sturdy and gals it’s freaking beautiful. I decided to take a stab at building it after passing out Halloween candy and it was finished in a jiffy. I love this and I’m so happy with Amazon!!! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a good sized, distressed vanity with a French provincial feel. ... show more

It is a beautiful vanity, but I noticed the varnish comes of very easily. Something was spilled on the top and it ruined the varnish. I am highly disappointed that I wasted so much money on this item.

Update: The drawers seem to be malfunctioning at this point. It still looks nice but the stool is also very flimsy and won’t last much longer. It’s not made for an adult if any weight. For the price I paid I expected better quality of workmanship. This product is good quality of material but the leg alignment in the vanity are poorly made. The tighter you screw the bolts in the more they become unstraightleaving them looking bowed. My top also came with a cracked corner. All in all it’s a nice looking vanity . I opted to keep it and repair the cracked corner with wood stain. Not much I can do about the legs but it is still a sturdy piece and the way I have it situated in the room makes it unnoticeable. The drawers are nice and deep but not quite deep enough for most hair product bottles to stand. They have to be laid down. I would purchase again. ... show more

About 12 years ago I purchased a vanity. The darned thing was SO flimsy that after two days of use I gave it away. Now, in 2020, I have again purchased a vanity. HEY! REAL FURNITURE! I cannot be more pleased with the looks and quality of this piece. I purchased some lights to go on the vanity (which I love, love, love) and included two pictures with this review: Lighted and unlighted vanity pictures. I originally had ordered this vanity for my wife and it was delayed twice and was delivered damaged. The box was damaged badly upon delivery by UPS so we carefully unwrapped the vanity for inspection. We completed the return process which was very easy and painless. We did UPS pickup and UPS picked the vanity up at no extra cost and we promptly had another delivered at pick up. The second box was intact. The vanity was wrapped well. So I’m not convinced it was the manufacturer or Amazons fault for the first damaged product. It was very easy to put together took about 30-45 minutes as the big parts are one piece. It came with all the hardware and tools needed. It’s a very beautiful distressed cream color. The drawers easily open on a track and are large and lined with felt. The stool is comfy and study. I give Amazon 5 stars on how easy this return process happened. I am in love with this vanity and would purchase again! ... show more
